Unlike the consistency badges, every performance badge only counts once. You must score at least 150 bolts in a challenge to get a bronze badge. Without the DLC, you must get a badge on every challenge. You may think there's thirteen challenges, but despite four separate instances for each song, Piano Step only counts once.

Two general tips, mostly for the rhythm-based challenges. One, I've noticed a bit of delay between what you do and when it appears on the screen. This can be a serious problem in games like Waterfall Jump and Piano Step. It takes a bit of trial and error, but find a spot below where you're supposed to hit and treat that as the sweet spot; I started getting much more perfects when I did that.

Secondly, make sure your Kinect floor tracking is accurate. With my setup, it tends to think the floor is a little higher, which also contributes to the rhythm problem above. However, if it thinks your floor is too high, Abs Zapper is going to be a nightmare.

I've separated the rest of the challenge tips into their respective quest locations, as this is a good place to work through them all.

Beatmaster - Cardio
Waterfall Jump - This may take a bit of trial and error to find the sweet spot, but as long as you're hitting them, even if not perfect, you should be getting silver.

Stunt Run - Keep the knees high when running. For perfects, make sure no part of your body is still touching the line, exaggerate the motions if you have to. You'll get another achievement for a string of ten perfects in a row.

Squat Me to the Moon - If you're struggling, watch the coach and, oddly, what they do with their arms. I found I got significantly more perfects when I squatted down, arms up, squat back to full height, then lower the arms. Break it into that four step process and speed it up once you've got the habit.

Volcano Skate - Really kick that back leg to the opposite side to get perfects, get to the top as fast as possible. Avoid the obstacles to keep speed up. If you avoid them all in a single trip around the track, you'll get another achievement.

Piano Step - A more intense and precise game of Waterfall Jump. While the camera is zooming in and counting down, lift your legs up and down and move around the environment to see what the threshold is for pushing a button and where the other keys are. Also similar to Piano Step, I had to focus a little early than the sweet spot in order to combat that bit of lag. If you can stay in max combo for ten seconds and do really well, another achievement is coming your way.

Luchador - Strength
Arctic Punch - Every ice block needs to be hit with a cross hit. Everything on the left needs to be hit with your right side, and vice versa. I prefer to take this one a little slow and make sure I'm not flailing about. If you never miss a block, you'll earn an achievement.

Abs Zapper - By far the hardest for me to get a medal, make sure your floor tracking is good, since you'll be laying down. A pillow or two to help keep your back in the proper form can also help. This one is all about maintaining your combo and getting the aliens as soon as they show up, but if you break form, you won't be able to hit anything. This will definitely take some practice just to get the right form.

To the Core - A little bit of trial and error to see how far you need to twist in order to hit each line, and you'll need to do a lot of in-betweens as the grid tightens, expands, and throws mines at you. Dodge ten mines in a single game for an achievement.

Push 'Em Up - Good form trumps speed. You can do it on your knees if that makes it better. Pause the game if you need to take a breather; if you're still working on upper body strength, 90 seconds of straight push-ups can be a serious problem.

Knee Up Splash - Even if this is essentially Simon Says, you get less points if you don't bring your knee up to at least your hip. Focus on getting the right pattern over speed.
