    This can be done locally, i.e. with a second player on the same controller.

    Just foul and do short shots on the 9 ball with Player 2 until you've got it very close to a pocket, then use your main account to hit the 1 into the 9 ball to pocket it. Make sure to make the 1 ball hit the 9 ball off-center, so that the 1 ball does not follow the 9 ball into the pocket.
