How to unlock the Man on the Moon achievement

    An easy achievement, load up Forge on the map "Standoff" from Halo 3. Give yourself a sniper and shoot out at the moon that's in the skybox. It's the area of sky opposite of the many large radar dishes.

    The SCHWARTZ 00I didn't even need a sniper. I just zoomed in on the moon with my starting weapon and it popped about 5 seconds afterwards.

    Moe GZThe guide says to start Forge but the video shows a deathmatch, you could update the guide because it works by starting a custom game and shooting the moon with the default weapon, no need to use forge.

    Hey guys, I made a video (which is on my YouTube channel) showing you how to get this achievement and which weapon worked for me, I tested the unsc weapons that people said they used and only the rocket launcher worked for me hope the vid help, please like and subscribe

    John AceyAll you need to do is stare at the moon for a moment.
    I did it with binocularys, waited short while staring it without moving and it popped.
    No shooting required, what a shocking reveal.

    Just here to make it easy for a few people as I read all the guides and got a tad confused:
    1. load up forge on the halo 3 map Standoff
    2. spawn yourself a sniper rifle
    3. zoom in on the moon (I did 18x) - it's the side in the sky opposite the large radio dishes
