  Start up a ricochet match on the map lockdown. You will need at least two on one for this to work. Have someone on the team of two pick up the ball and pass to a teammate. They then pass it back. Now the first of the two players kills the opposing team member and scores. Then the second player on the same team scores and two of you will get the achievement. The lone player will have to get it in a second match unless you have at least four players as he will have no one to pass it to.

  "you can't switch teams" LOL. False. You just click (X) to open the Roster. Select one of the players, go down to CHANGE TEAMS and select a different color.
  
  If you use a dummy controller with a GUEST account, it will automatically put you on the same team.

  The description could be better written by starting saying you need a minimum of 3 players, or 1 person with 2 extra dummy controllers.
  
  You "pass" the ball by standing close to your teammate and shoot with (RT).
  
  I got the kill while holding the ball / aka, melee to kill.

  hey guys
  please check out my video, its shows and tells you how to get the triple threat achievement.
  what you need is at least 3 players including yourself, a map that supports ricochet (i used Zenith Halo 2 Anniversary)
  hope the video helps and thanks to SP4CEY for helping me to get the achievement and being in the video

  If you have at least 3 Controllers and want to boost this alone here's how.
  
  -Custom Game
  -Halo 2 Annv.
  -I choose Lockdown(Lockout) Anniversary
  -Ricochet
  
  I then loaded up my 2 extra controllers (DadliestGamer1 & 2) Both of which ended up on a team while my main account was alone. To fix this hit "X" for the roster with the dummy controller, find which tag its assigned to then click "Change Team". This will give you the option of Red or Blue. Obviously put your dummy account on the same team as your main and now your ready to go.
  
  The rest is simple, get a kill, pass to your idle controller, and score a point all with your main account. Once you've accomplished all three requirements the achievement will pop.

  I can confirm that you can use a guitar controller to sign in as a third account if you're like me and have 2 normal controllers and 2 guitars.
