For this challenge I used the second map.

I started working on the slaves first. I followed the same tactic I used when trying to get the white rider achievement. I got on a Caragor and made a big loop around the map. I would use the mini map to locate the slaves. It seemed to count the slaves if you killed a single guard in the group. I would then free any caged Caragors I found along the route. I knew I was finished with the slaves after killing a couple groups and the completion percentage not going up. I highly recommend having the achievement guide snapped so you can keep track.

When going for the Caragors, I concentrated on the stronghold at Fort Morn. There are 5 cages in this stronghold, and 2 more immediately to the East on your way out of the stronghold. Once those were freed, I fast traveled to the tower North of Fort Morn. Not all cages will spawn full. The cage facing the tower did not seem to respawn as frequent. I would then shadow ride the first Caragor and repeat. You can also shadow kill a guard from the tower to get you there faster.

Liberating caragors is by far more tedious than liberating slaves. To liberate caragors you have to break their cages. To liberate slaves you have to defeat or scare away their handlers. In the video below I show a method to get four caragors a minute using the stronghold near the Fern Outskirts.

First, fast travel to the outskirts. Look right and jump down. In the ruins before oyu cross the bridge you can liberate 1 to 5 slaves by simply brutalising a guard. With the right skill set the second guard will flee and thus automatically reward you with some liberations. To brutalise a guard, walk up to him but before you get to him, hold cn_RT and push cn_Y. Even if the guard is alerted, this will brutalise him sending his colleague scattering away.

Now run across the bridge using the crates to trigger your Elven Swiftness. Climb up onto the bars and liberate three caragors. Notice how you can shoot through some of the other objects. As long as the prompt (cn_RT) shows in the bottom right hand corner. Notice how I shoot through the fourth cage which is located a bit further north of the other three cages. If you do it stealthily, you can fast travel immediately upon liberating the fourth caragor.

You can repeat this route once every minute and twenty seconds depending on the loading speed and your prowess. You will get all caragors done in thirteen repetitions leaving you with a good quarter hour which will also net you about fifty slaves liberated.

Slaves are rather easy to find. Look at your mini map and focus on the white triangles. I would suggest mounting a caragor. It is easier if you equip runes that grant Focus and Elf-Shot with the bow. Ideally also a rune that lets more than a few Uruks scatter when a nearby Uruk receives a head shot. I would recommend not bothering to actually melee any slave tenders unless it is only one. Sneak up on that one with the caragor with cn_RT and kill him quickly using cn_Y. If there are more Uruks, just kill them with your bow from afar.

Using these methods you should be done in about half an hour.

    First map method.

Fast travel to Durthang Outskirts (lower left of the map) and then turn left and head into the stronghold.
In the main area as many as four Caragors can spawn and then if you crawl through the broken cage door tunnel that leads to the bridge you can possibly get two more (although two only ever spawned for me once, mostly just one or sometimes none at all),
Not sure how fast this way is, didn't time it.
The achievement tracker should end at around 50-51% just going for Caragors if you're not manually keeping track.

Now slaves are pretty easy to find but I'll post a method to hopefully speed things up.
Fast travel to the tower in The Black Road (upper right of the map) and jump down fro mthe tower. A cliff should be right in front of you, underneath should be some slvaes, kill the guy guarding them. Then look across the valley and to the left a little to see another guard. Killing these two should get you anywhere from 2-4% saved slaves per fast travel, some times you might see a group of walking slaves/uruks which should help add 2% more or so but they come by rarely.
