Each mission shows you what you need to get the gold star in points when you highlight it.

In this game you can earn points in two ways:
1) Kills. These are your base points. The more enemies you kill the more points you get. Focus on killing every enemy on your map, even if you're not required to in order to move on.
2) Medals. This is where you can significantly increase your points. The best way to get points is through multikills and sprees. You get sprees by getting several kills in a row without being shot, and you can get them with different weapons. Multikills are a Halo classic, and are obtained by killing several enemies in quick succession.

You shouldn't have too much trouble getting gold medals in this game if you have gotten the gold medals achievements in Spartan Assault. The score threshold is fairly low and easy to obtain. One extra tip I have for getting more sprees is using the bubble shield armor ability. You can fire out while enemies cannot fire in, allowing you to rack up some easy kills without fear of getting shot.

After each mission you can view a detailed score report. Go ahead and check it out after you play a mission to see what enemies and medals are worth the most, and see what you can try and get more of. If you're really struggling, or just want to make things easier, you can purchase a score booster for 1,000 CR per mission

I would like to also recommend, destroying any Covenant vehicles and turrets count as great points; if you manage to destroy them as part of a killstreak, I think they count for even more bonus points. As an example, the mission early on where you get to use a Wraith, I jumped out and destroyed it at the end of the mission. I got 6,000 points for just destroying it with no streak I'm aware of at the time.

An tips on D-3? I have played it a few times and can't break 300k with the Gold medal requirement being 315k.

This is the one where you're in a Kestral and pretty much just laying waste to everyone. Even with the Score Booster I am coming up 15k shy. I have Gold on everything else.

It's been a longggg time since I played that, but I seem to remember something about making sure to keep my kill streak's going; have you tried that? Figure out exactly how much time you have before your streak stops, and then don't kill unless you're going to lose the streak.

Got through D-3 barely. I noticed letting the watchers resurrect the knights gives a chance for some more points.

I got to ask, why have more people recieved this achievement for all gold stars, on A to E than those who compelted E?

Probably this is one that cross platform unlocks whereas completing each operation had to be done on each platform

I was coming up short until I came on here and saw there was a score booster. Got it no problem with it (apart from game crashing at end of level in first run). After breaking the 2nd wall, a yellow and grey Knight will keep spawning near the 1st broken wall, so you can farm them a bit.

Then in last area, keep bursting towards the southeast for medals. Once stuff starts spawning behind you, run them over while trying to shoot in same southeast area.

D-3 wasn't nearly as bad as it sounds from these comments imo. First run I ended up ~350k no booster. Just make sure that you're getting high multikill medals throughout, as well as taking advantage of the few extra points from the farm spot that cortanarama mentioned.
