**All achievements in Chivalry can be boosted via private matches. But it is a lot more fun to play through the game naturally!

How it works: Unlocking weapons in Chivalry, works in a basic three tier grid.

    1st Bow/2nd Bow/3rd Bow
    1st Cross Bow/2nd Cross Bow/3rd Cross Bow
    Etc., etc., etc..

For example, setting a bow as your primary weapon, and obtaining kills with it will assist you in unlocking bows, while choosing a long sword will unlock more long swords, and so on.

Each locked weapon will have a number at the bottom. This will represent the number of kills needed to unlock your next tier. You can check your progress simply by checking the weapon selection screen, as the number will automatically count down with each kill.

You will find your first two-handed sword (Great Sword) under the Vanguard Class. To fully unlock your two-handed swords will require 100 kills total: Your 1st unlock will come at 25 kills and your 2nd unlock will come after 75 kills. Gaining you these achievements:

    Best Game Type?
Free-For-All can get you a bit of kills as well, Free-For-All usually will net you the most kills, but if you are new to the game start out in Team Deathmatch.

**Non-playable characters at mission objectives seem to also count as valid kills. Eg: descendants to the throne.

Any questions? Ask me. This game is a blast so far! I'm very happy with it and all the achievements are maybe mildly time consuming at best.
