    Coins are earned in the "normal" levels. The boss levels and unlockable "extra" levels on each world will not have them. Difficulty does not seem to affect this achievement, so feel free to earn them on either Easy or Normal mode.

    Each "normal" level will have six coins to earn. There are two ways to earn them:

    - Up to three coins can be earned based on the amount of amber you earn over the course of the level.

    Amber are the floating crystals you see everywhere, but can also be gained by defeating enemies. In addition, you get a 10 amber bonus for collecting hearts when you're character is at full health.

    You can also get bonus amber at the end of each level by stopping the wheel at the right moment. Watch the pointer closely and when it's lined up with the section you want, press cn_Y to stop the wheel. Even though it looks random, the wheel will stop in the exact place where the pointer is when you press cn_Y.

    - The other three coins are won by finding and entering the bonus levels in each normal stage via the teleports (the blue portals).

    Almost every teleport in the game is going to be off the main path, but luckily even with casual exploration you'll easily find them. Once inside the teleport, you have to collect all the amber and the resultant coin without dying and before time runs out for it to count.

    The good news is that once you get the coin from the teleport, you don't have to replay it, even if you die before the next checkpoint. Another good thing is that there are only about six or so versions of the bonus stages that rotate out between teleports, so it doesn't take long to work out a strategy for each of them. However, if you do die or run out of time within the bonus level, instead of pushing forward and replaying the whole level again, simply kill off your character. You'll be back at your last checkpoint and the teleport will be available for retry. If you by chance accidentally activate a new checkpoint after failing a bonus level, you'll have to replay the whole stage again to get back to the one you failed, so be careful.

    If you keep up with these and collect them all stage-by-stage, the achievement should pop as soon as you complete the last "normal" stage in world 4.
