    I haven't gotten too far into the game, so I'm not sure if shooting weapons become more prevalent later in the story. But if you can find this spot on the map, Irwin will give you a challenge to kill 40 zombies with his shotgun in under 2 minutes. Ammo is unlimited, and you can fail and repeat as many times as you need to get 50 kills before you finish the challenge successfully.

    SanJolLater in the game you will get more and more opportunities to get shooting weapons (pistol, rifle or shotgun). You can buy them from a trader or even find a couple if you're lucky. But this is by far the fastest method I can think of to unlock this achievement.
