UPDATE: As Marcos Aspira said in the comments, "Recent update added 3 races for the Season, so now you need to complete 18 races / 85 stars on S01 and the 16th one you need 180 tokens to buy the car."

This isn't that difficult of an achievement, it just takes a long time. You're going to need 5 stars in every Season 1 race.
There are two ways of earning stars
1) Finish the race in first place - You get a star for finishing in 3rd, 2 stars for finishing in 2nd, and 3 stars for finishing in 1st. You cannot get stars for the same race after you have gotten the requirements already. For example, say you go 3rd in a race. You cannot go 3rd again and earn another star but if you haven't went 2nd or 1st yet, you still will get a star.
2) Objectives - These are the easy part of earning stars. Objectives are simple because you can do these without actually winning the race. You don't need to get these all in 1 go. Objectives can be anywhere from doing a certain amount of barrel rolls, knockouts, flatspins, to just simply winning the race with a certain vehicle.

You're going to need 45,000 credits to unlock one of the cars for Season 1, and yes you do need to unlock it to get the achievement. There is also a car for 8,500 I believe you need to unlock and another car for 2,500. You will also need to upgrade your vehicles to make the races even possible. You can see the required level and what level your car is before starting a race. If it is not at the required level, upgrade it some more until it is.

Currently I am just missing the final race which requires 45,000 credits to unlock. I have been earning stars in Season 2, 3 and 4 to give me a good boost in credits. It's pretty easy to just get the 2 objective stars if your vehicles are not the required level yet and come back to them later to get 1st place. I found the "Gate" races to be the best place for me to get credits as they are easy once you figure out how to do them and they're pretty short. Simply press DOWN to start drifting then release DOWN and press and hold UP. Then keep pressing LEFT and RIGHT to control your vehicle while continuing to drift.

Races - These shouldn't be too hard to explain. If your vehicle is the required level then you shouldn't have no problem doing them. Just use your boost often and go for the knockouts.

Elimination - Just try staying ahead of everyone else as the last person gets eliminated after a while, until you and one other are left. Wait for the timer to start and make sure they don't pass you.

Infected - Probably hardest/easiest race. It's easy if you get lucky but can be a pain in the ass if your vehicle blows up 2 seconds from the finish line like mine did. Basically, you want to get infected so you have unlimited boost then keep getting knockouts to add to the timer. Once your timer reaches 0, you blow up/wreck and are back to normal. You will then have to get infected again for the unlimited boost. Just hope that when you get close to the finish line that you don't wreck because of infection.

Knockouts - These should be easy for Season 1. Always use your boost for knocking out other cars. It will take them out in 1 hit if your boost is active. I don't think they use boost either so everything should be good. This goes for any other race, always use boost to knockout. Because you gain boost again anyways and it puts them farther back in the race.

1v1 races - Not too hard, make sure you use the vehicles that earn you the bonus objective stars or else you will have to win the race again. But really, hit every jump and use boost and you should win. Also knock them out if you are close :D

AIRTIME - This should be the easiest out of the objectives as I have only noticed it counted total airtime during the race and not just for a single jump. Say the objective says Airtime - 4 seconds. You only need 4 seconds throughout the race that is in the air. Which is simple because you want to hit as many jumps as you can to get your boost up and to win the race. You probably can knock out the AIRTIME objectives in a single jump. That's how easy it is :D Some races don't have many jumps so always make sure to boost before you hit the jump.

FLATSPINS - These are easy once you figure out how to do them. You want to press DOWN to start drifting right before you hit a jump and then quickly press and hold either LEFT or RIGHT to start doing a flatspin. Some objectives just require total flatspins during the race, while some require 3 flatspins in 1 jump. I'm not sure if it's luck based because you seem to crash a lot before you can land and finish the jump when doing flatspins. But if you hold LEFT for example and you're doing a flatspin and you're coming up to a wall on your left, you can press and hold RIGHT and you will center yourself back on the track while your vehicle is still spinning left. You must land the jump but you don't always have to do a full 360. If it says on the counter Flatspins - 3 then you did it. Now just finish the race for the star.

BARREL ROLLS - The objectives for Season 1 barrel rolls are easy, while some later on can be annoying. You want to hit the ramps that are curved and your car will do a barrel roll. The same things as flatspins basically, some objectives will require total amount during the race while some will require total amount during 1 jump. You must land them for the Objective to count but these should be pretty easy as well.

KNOCKOUTS - These can be really easy as well. Once the race starts get a perfect boost right away and start crashing into everybody at the start. Each time you knock someone out, you get more boost so you should be able to take out most if not all of them right away. Then let the group pass you and repeat the process until they are knocked out and you have your star.

DRIFT - Drifting is easy, just do what I said for the Gate races and you should have no problem doing these.

THE REST OF THE OBJECTIVES - There aren't too many more to talk about, some require buying certain cars and winning the race with them, while others require beating the race without wrecking. Take your time if you think you need to take your time, if you need to win the race, take all the shortcuts and hit all the jumps and always use boost. :)

Not sure if I covered every race or not but that should be it. Damn this solution is long, I hope I helped everyone. :) Also you probably will want to play other seasons to grind out your credits and earn more stars. You will thank me in the end. Season 4 gives good amounts of credits for winning the "Gate" races over and over. 1,000+ each time if you hit all the gates.
