After failing a couple of attempts on the first levels I actually earned this achievement naturally on the Queen of Plague Level.

You should have built a varied deck by now. Remove difficult encounter cards and insert cards that you earned from the easier levels. In Deck Builder pressing Y will tell you what the card gives, try to avoid cards which have combat written on them.

While luck has a lot to do with this achievement I honestly believe I earned it because of the deck I chose. If you use automatic deck builder the computer chooses the more difficult encounter cards, so make sure that you tinker with the deck and avoid inserting cards which have 3 failures to 1 success. Insert cards such as Maiden, Mr Lionel, Helpful Priest. Also remove cards which only have 1 chance of success and 2 failures.

There are also other tactics you can follow, find the quickest route to the exit, if you have the opportunity to flee, sneak or avoid encounters make sure you do. By adopting these tactics and manually creating your own deck you will earn this achievement in no time.

If you do enter into combat try and keep away from large groups, make sure you have a shield equipped and as soon as the counter icon appears make sure you counter. As soon as a red icon appears roll out of the way. By removing combat cards youll improve your chances though.

InquisitorZac+1 for recommending Queen of Plagues. Super easy when setting all cards to harmless and dodgeable encounters.

yamayamayaamaaI've done this multiple times in Story and Endless (on Normal and Hard difficulty), completed even 4 levels, and it's still not unlocking. Anyone know what I'm missing here? Do I need to delete my save file?

Edit: Started over and completely deleted my save file from local/cloud and finally unlocked it.

This one is rather simple to do you need to not take any damage for the first three levels of a deck and its kinda involves alittle luck too depending on what you get. best done early on as you can like at the jack of skulls. my best tactic would be counters ALOT and if you dont think your gonna get the counter off dodge roll alway quickly and taking on one a time curtainly helps. Also be aware of cards that will damage you its your best bet to skip the ones that give you a weapon at the risk of taking damage rather then taking a chance at taking damage as well. also its come to my attention that some people are saying that you need to avoid battles as much as well.

SteveyK21I just unlocked this after 3 floors on Queen of Skulls, which included 2 battles where i took no damage. One battle was from the card to move floor and one was goblins who didn't attack. Hope this helps someone.

johannasceasaraCurrently trying this on endless mode for UHH. Not going well. Trouble is, in Endless mode you are automatically risking it, because the dealer can draw you a pain card after each exit. Also have been trying it with Jack of skulls, but since there is ONLY three floors in it, it may not work. Queen of dust might be easier.

Important thing to consider; at least in my opinion. The farther you progress in this game without going for this, the harder it will be. Cards you have unlocked stay unlocked, regardless of how early you go back in story. Even with a deck if your choosing, if you have say a 30 deck minimum, you're gonna have to accept some bad cards. So, be mindful folks

LagDotComThis only popped for me once I had a run (on Queen of Plagues) with no encounters, no damage, and no dashboarding.

I would recommend trying to do this with the very lucky achievement. I suggest this because the game does not save until after each card has completed its action so, if you dashboard it after flipping a card you do not like you are able to go to the dashboard, quit the game and then relaunch it at the point prior to picking the card you had selected this works well with chance based cards where you need to get lucky to not receive damage or in some cases fight a reduced number of enemies. You can also use this trick to restart a battle if you do take damage. In my experience it will always be the same enemies so you won't be able to try for different or fewer enemies but you'll be able to give it another go.
