In order to unlock this achievement, you have to destroy the blimp with your cabin.
It
must be on a Demo Expert campaign level.
Building the perfect track in Engineer campaign will not work! (I've tried)
I do believe you'll find the blimp on almost every level in ScreamRide to get this achievement on, if you feel more comfortable doing so.
Be aware that it will take you a couple of tries to get a feel of what the perfect timing, power, and angle should be.
Once the cabin has been launched, make sure to make good use of the
to "guide" the cabin a little where you want it to be.
Here's a clip of me hitting the blimp and netting the achievement.
(Please note : the clips were recorded by Xbox One's Game DVR. Therefor, any eventual unlocking achievements appeared on my screen were not registered by the Game DVR)Here's what I did :
- Go to campaign, Demo Expert Series 1 ("The Populous Labs") and select Level 1 ("First Impressions")
- Power set to maximum (9) using
- Screen almost full right (
)
- I've waited for the blimp's shadow to appear on the water surface
- Held down
to slow down the launch arm's momentum, giving me time to search for the perfect angle
- Once the blimp was fully in sight and I thought of what the good angle would be, I released the
button to launch
- Then, once launched, I immediately started pressing the
to the right to direct the cabin to the blimp (see the landscape in de background moving slightly to the left)
Here's another vid of me hitting the blimp again, just to show the above method works.
Again... Power + angle + timing, will make you hit the blimp.
Just keep at it and you'll net the achievement as well.
Another place where you easily can get it on, is Series 3 (Beldurraren Laku) Level 3 (Azteca Wrecka)
Key here is to use
and
(for left and right) as well
(for up and down).
Aim a little in front and higher than the blimp, so that once you get out of the "grid" and start falling, you fall on top of the blimp.
