Your first opportunity to perform a non-lethal takedown comes in Episode One: Back to School, shortly after learning how to distract enemies with shell casings. Two enemies are available to be knocked out. The key to this achievement is stealth - simply distract your enemies and sneak up behind them to smash the back of their head with  . 'Takedown' will flash across your screen if you are successful.
There are plenty of enemies throughout the rest of the episode and I was able to obtain this achievement in one run. However, there are many more opportunities to earn this in the single player campaign so feel free to play the episode in your own way.
