This DLC should take you 3-7 hours to complete (just a personal estimate, depends on your pacing and desire to do side and story quests together).

This guide is organized by mission objectives (45 total by my count) because I did not catch the name of every mission name due to typing or just not catching it (I did underline the mission names that I did catch).

This DLC is broken down into 5 nights where you explore the valley during the day and then have to defend your base at night.

Unfortunately, upgrades, stats, and weapons DO NOT carry over from the base game. However, you gain xp and money quickly while finding several special "lost weapons" along the way to make it okay.

Helpful starting hints (in case you forgot how to play the game since you last picked it up for the retail, like I did)
    a) Press “LB” to bring up weapon wheel
    b) Press “Up, dir. Pad” to bring up binoculars
    c) Wingsuit, run with “RS”, jump with “A” and then press “LS” to deploy wingsuit.

    Now onto the Main event:
I did this on easy, I am not sure if total number or type (more “heavies”) of enemies change on higher difficulties but my guide will represent what I found on easy.

    Valley of the Yeti DLC
Start it up (at Main Menu under “Chronicles”, not the regular campaign)
    After opening Cinematic,
    The Lost Valley
    1) Find the Pilot
*Start out with a machete, look around crashed helicopter for throwing knives and molotovs
*kind of a shit start, snow leopards were killing me often..wish I had my guns back
    Canyon of the Awakening
*After going through a cave of 3 enemies (take them out silently with knife), you will find some of the pilot’s gear
    *New waypoint
*Find a bow after crossing bridge
*Make your way up and through another cave to find 6P9 sidearm and other loot
    2) Proceed to the Relay Station
*When approaching search zone for pilot, you will get objective #2
*Look near dead body for a wingsuit and make your way to relay station
Valley of the Yetis (new map area, and name of DLC)
    3) Secure the Relay Station
*Do this silently or guns blazing, I counted 1 alarm and 8 enemies
*I did not see any “heavies” or animal enemies
    4) Check the Radio and Call for Help
*Dialogue will occur once you go inside the relay station building and interact with radio
*Once dialogue finishes, you will unlock:
“Home Sweet Home” for 25G, “Occupy the Relay Station”.
    5) Defend the Relay Station: “First Night
*Once you step outside of the building, you will get objective #5 as your base will be assaulted
*Use cover to protect yourself, but you will mainly be concerned with preventing enemies from placing bombs around the encampment
*Assault 1: I had a total of about 9 enemies and 1 dog attack me, most came from North or East.
Note: as suggested from the comments section, the directions that enemies spawn from are random. I will still keep the directions I encountered but note that your experiences may differ.
*Assault 2: I counted about 9 enemies and 1 dog again coming from south
*After stopping the second assault, you will unlock:
“Night Survivor” for 25G, “Defend the Relay Station and Survive the First Night”
*You can now explore the valley, doing upgrade quests to build Relay Station’s defenses and looking for loot but I went to the base camp first before enjoying some free roam.
*Go inside building in base camp for more dialogue and new objective
    6) Reach the Pilot

*At this point, you can free roam or continue with story. It took me under 2 hours to do the Upgrade Quests which I would advise as your base we will attacked 4 more times and the upgrades will help.

*Once you reach the objective waypoint, things will look similar to the start of the DLC but this time you hopefully have better firepower! Clear out the enemies and then interact with the pilot to get a cutscene and a new objective.
    Sacrificial Cave
    Spolier…..Yetis!!!
    7) Find a Way Out
*Your equipment is gone! Yet, you still have a flashlight, I guess that is better than absolutely nothing.
*Follow a linear path, climbing up, until you get a cutscene…of a yeti enjoying his human happy meal.
    8) Find a Grappling Hook to Escape.
*Hop down and search the objective area. As you get closer, the radius of the search area will get smaller. This means you are getting nearer to the grapple hook but also closer to the yeti! Don’t worry, you can crouch and hide into a small hidden area, climb to the hook, and get out. The yeti did swipe at my rear and do a small amount of damage to me before I escaped.
    9) Escape Down the Mountain
*Use your wingsuit and fly from the top of the ledge. Just kidding, you do not have your wingsuit at this time, so if you attempt to glide away, you will die. You must use the grapple to slowly make your way down.
    10) Search the Area for Your Equipment
*Without your equipment, stealth is your friend here. You do not have your binoculars, but I counted at least 6 enemies total. Take them out silently and then search for your gear which can be found in the middle tent in a box.
    11) Go back to the Safe House when Ready
*Make your way back to the relay station any way that you can
    12) Prepare for Disciples Attack: “Second Night
*Refill on ammo and hope that you did enough upgrade missions to make this easier for yourself
    13) Defend the Relay Station
    *Same as objective #5
*Assault 1: I had a total of about 12 enemies attack from West. With a grenade launcher upgrade on the wall, it was easy
*Assault 2: I counted about 10 enemies and 1 dog coming from South. Out of the 10, I saw 3 groups of 2 come in on snow mobiles. This area had mines and a mounted machine gun if you did all upgrade quests.
*Assault 3: I counted 11 enemies attacking from north and south. I did not use any gun turrets or anything like that. I ran around attacking with my primary and secondary guns.
*After a successful stand, enter relay station and interact with radio for new objective
    14) Shut Down the Signal Jammers: “Failure to Communicate
*I got the above objective, refilled my ammo, got more dialogue and then got the below objective
    15) Investigate the Crash Site
*Once you reach search area, take out the 3 enemies there and interact with a map
    16) Disable the Signal Jammer Power Generators
    *There are 3:
    a) Go west to the “Abandoned Station”, kill the 3 enemies and animals that attack then disable/destroy first generator
    b) Go east to the north, middle of map to the “Kisana Village” and do the same. I had about 9 enemies (including 1 heavy) and 1 dog defend the generator. I do not know if it can be avoided but reinforcements were called in and I had to kill 3 more enemies with their vehicle.
    c) Further west to the final generator at the “Ruins of Andhakara Temple” and then subsequently to the “Shrine of Yalung”. For this one, you must do some climbing/grappling to reach the top of these ruins to allow you to wingsuit over to the generator. Before moving into the cave to disable the generator, it is boss or mini-boss time against a Yeti! For advice on taking him out easily, follow my guide for the “Spiritual Hunter” achievement. If you did not find one in free roam, this will be the first place you can unlock the achievement.
*After killing the yeti, enter the cave and disable the generator to end this mission.
    17) Go back to the Safe House when Ready
*Make your way back to the relay station any way that you can
    18) Prepare for Disciples Attack: “Third Night
*Refill on ammo and hope that you did enough upgrade missions to make this easier for yourself
    19) Defend the Relay Station
*Same as objective #5 except now the sky is red and it looks like all hell has broke loose
*Assault 1: Things got hectic so I lost count, I approximate about 25 enemies total from North, East, and West.
*Assault 2: I counted 10 from the West. Then, a bunch of enemies and a yeti will attack from the South. Hide near your relay building and let the yeti do some of your work.
*Assault 3: Things got hectic again as enemies attacked mostly from the south and the east. I counted around 20. There was 1 heavy but no yetis!
*After a successful stand, enter relay station and interact with radio for new objective
    20) Locate the Disciples’ Convoy
*Once you reach the objective waypoint area, you will get a new objective
    21) Prepare to ambush the convoy
    And
    22) Loot the Prison Key from the Commander
*I just waited for the convoy to approach and shot grenades at the 2 vehicles that approached. Commander got out and I then just shot and looted him for the key
    23) Go to the Prison
*You will encounter multiple enemies along the way. You can fight or ignore them
    24) Secure the Prison Courtyard
*Kill everything!!! Personally, I sprinted right to the 2 alarm boxes and disabled them. Then I finished off the remaining enemies with a light machine gun with ease. You can also get creative and set a snow leapoard on them if you want to go that route.
    25) Enter the Prison
*I saw 2 entrances for this on a cliff and down below. Because I am cool, I grappled up to the one on the Cliffside.
    26) Reach the Bomb Maker without triggering the Alarm
*I will do my best to describe this: I took out 2 enemies with a chain takedown and then disabled 1 alarm. I grappled up to take out a 3rd enemy. I jumped down and killed 2 more enemies and disabled the 2nd alarm. I then just openly killed 3 more enemies without fear of screwing up the objective. After enemies are dead, interact with the bomb maker.
    27) Clear the Exit for the Bomb Maker
*Simple enough, follow the linear path, clearing the enemies out and protecting the bomb maker
    28) Go back to the Safe House when Ready
*Make your way back to the relay station any way that you can
    29) Prepare for Disciples Attack:Fourth Night
*Refill on ammo and hope that you did enough upgrade missions to make this easier for yourself
    30) Defend the Relay Station
*Same as objective #5 except now the sky is red and it looks like all hell has broke loose
*Assault 1: Things got hectic so I lost count again, I approximate about 30 enemies total from the South and the West. There were at least 3 heavies present in the attack.
*Assault 2: There were about 25-30 enemies total from the South and the East. Watch out for an enemy who shoots the rocket launcher from the South.
*Assault 3: I counted about 25 enemies attacking from the east. You can save yourself some ammo and trouble and wait for the yeti to arrive and wipe a lot of them out.
*After a successful stand, enter relay station and interact with radio for new objective
    31) Collect the Explosives: “Lucy in the Shrine
*Go to the waypoint and interact with the bag
    32) Destroy the Temple Gate
*Go to temple gates, kill the 2 enemies there, plant explosives, and back away from door
    33) Enter the Temple Grounds
*Move forward until you get the following objective:
    34) Destroy the Disciples’ Supplies
*In this camp, there are 2 alarms and about 10 enemies. I took out the alarms immediately and then killed the enemies as I moved to each of the 5 Elixer supplies. These supplies are either out in the open or in the small buildings scattered around the camp. They are easy to find and easy to destroy, you can just shoot them to destroy them. Watch out for snipers and heavies. No dogs or yetis that I could see.
    35) Proceed up to the Sky Shrine
*Proceed to the door and kill the 4-5 enemies that come out, 2 of which were heavies. Grapple up the mountain side.
    36) Kill Master Sandesh
*Make your way up this deadly camp with heavies, snipers, rocket launching enemies and Master Sandesh
    37) Find information about the Relic
*Interact with the documents at the base of the shrine.
    38) Go back to the Safe House when Ready
*Make your way back to the relay station any way that you can. From this height and distance, you can use the wingsuit to make it all the way back
    39) Prepare for Disciples Attack: “Fifth Night
*Refill on ammo and hope that you did enough upgrade missions to make this easier for yourself
    40) Defend the Relay Station
*Same as objective #5 except now the sky is red and it looks like all hell has broke loose
*Assault 1: I counted at least 50 enemies and 1 yeti. At this point, the yeti is more helpful than destructive since he cleans house before moving on to you.
*Assault 2: Once again, 40-50 enemies and 2 yetis.
*After a successful stand, enter relay station and interact with radio for new objective
    41) Reach the Relic Shrine: “The Relic
*Find a snowmobile or truck and drive over 1000meters to the objective
    42) Loot an Oxygen Mask from an Enemy
*Kill an enemy, loot the body, and get yourself an oxygen mask
*There are several enemies here and 1 yeti
    43) Reach the Relic Shrine
*Climb the mountain, taking out some enemies and 1 yeti before entering the temple. Don’t get too comfy, there is another yeti waiting for you inside the temple. Kill the yetis and approach the waypoint for more dialogue.
    44) Destroy Yalung’s Relic
*I am not sure if all weapons work but I shot it with a grenade launcher once and got a cutscene and new objective
    45) Destroy the Relic’s Roots
*Awesome, now you have to kill another yeti and 7 roots to this relic. I find another yeti after shooting the 4th root. I was able to avoid him though and just make a b-line back to the relic after finishing off the last 3 roots. Either way, make your way back to the relic, shoot it and bam! You are done with the DLC story!

I apologize for this solution being very wordy. I confess that this was my first real attempt at typing out a walkthrough/guide for a game (really just wanted to give it a try and see if I enjoyed it or not).
Hopefully, this should give you a detailed step-by-step walkthrough/guide for getting through this DLC.
If you have any questions or comments, please write one and I will do my best to help you.

Rowdawg88@HellCreeper666, thank you so much! This was really my first attempt at writing a walkthrough so if just 1 person used it, i am a happy camper!

b0seijuI should mention that the area where enemies come from are random at the night. So you can remove the north/west/east/south areas.
    Posted by b0seiju On 03 May 15 at 11:29
Rowdawg88@b0seiju, i thought that might be the case. I was assuming that the amount and type of enemies that spawn would also be random or difficulty-specific. I will remove the cardinal directions and just say that players will be told where enemies are spawning from

Rowdawg88@Cerberustorm, thank you for the comment! The night defenses got a bit repetitive and tedious at times but I’m glad the guide helped!

An Aegean CatGreat guide! I used it for my run on the 360 version and it streamlined things (especially the defenses) a lot. My only recommendation is formatting it a tad better since it's a giant wall of text (break into paragraphs by missions/defenses), but otherwise, it's fantastic!
