How to unlock the Hero of the People achievement

    There is also an alternative method to this, which I believe to be a bit faster and a little less boring.

    It requires 3 people instead of 2. Here's the breakdown:

    Someone host a RANKED epidemic match on the Court map (4 people, 20 score limit, 30 minutes)

    Second person join (this will be the person getting points)

    Third person joins (1st and 3rd person will be on one team, 2nd by himself)

    The two people on the same team will just stand at the spawn, the single person will run to the other spawn (make sure and throw your glaive in the fire on the way)

    Now simply use a finisher on the INFECTED guy, then click the right stick to explode your glaive, killing the normal guy.

    For some reason doing this will net you 6 points, repeat for 20 rounds and you will get between 110-120 points each time, which takes roughly 8-10 minutes. Then simply switch off who goes on the team by themselves.

    The fastest way to boost with 2 players is to play on factory. Meet at the fire, and both throw your glaive in it with RB. Stand close together and both click the right stick to let the burning glaive explode. Both players will go down and get 1 point. You can easily earn 60 points in 15 minutes for both players. To boost 2000 points for both players you will need about 8 hours.
    If you meet in the middle and kill, you will need more then 12 hours.

    FASTEST METHOD GUARANTEED - You'll want to read this solution and it's entirety if you want to master and complete this achievement in 6 hours.

    Players: 2
    Map: Court
    Score Limit: 20
    Round Time: 60 minutes
    Points per minute: 4-5
    Expected amount of time to reach 2000: 6-8 hours

    270+ points per hour for BOTH players! That's 540+ points between the two of you per hour!

    As soon as the match starts, both players run to the same fire. Both players stand directly IN FRONT of the fire, side by side with 2-6 feet of a gap between each other. Standing a gap of 1-2 feet from the fire itself works best.

    Now just rinse and repeat the following:

    Both players simultaneously throw the glaive into the fire by TAPPING the RB button. Both players IMMEDIATELY click in the RIGHT STICK the moment each player notices the other player THROW the glaive on screen.

    That's it! Rinse and repeat.

    If done exactly as I have stated, the moment BOTH players click that RIGHT STICK, BOTH players will be downed from the glaives explosion(provided it was thrown directly into the fire).

    Extra tips:

    - NO KILLING INVOLVED, JUST DOWNING.

    - The best tip I can give is to always wait for the other player to throw the glaive BEFORE clicking the RIGHT STICK.

    - Both the throw and the explosion do NOT have to be simultaneous. After doing this over and over, you will see what I'm talking about. The trick is to just try to be simultaneous(or very close to it) to limit mistakes.

    - Sometimes when a player is downed, the glaive will STAY ON FIRE from the explosion. This means when you get up, you don't have to throw the glaive into the fire. Just click in the right stick once the other player throws his glaive.

    - Takes approximately 10 seconds to wait for each down process.

    - 9.5 out of 10 throws of the glaive into the fire will light it up. Sometimes it just doesn't light up because you aimed elsewhere or it just doesn't hit a flame for some reason.

    - Over time, pressing RB and clicking the RS draws both players TOWARDS the fire. Try to backup every so often when you see this taking place.

    - EVERY SECOND matters towards completing this in 6 hours instead of 8. You gotta get in that groove and not make mistakes.

    - The most common mistake is DOWNING one of the players while the other doesn't(you'll do this maybe 10-20 times per hour unless you've mastered this process together).

    Just setup 4 separate 2 hour sessions and this achievement is yours. Have fun!
