How to unlock the Unseen Predator achievement

    I wasn't going to copy and paste my guide from the 360 version unless I knew for sure it works on the Xbox One version. I have just tested it and it indeed still works as of 25/04/2015

    (To make this solution dumb proof, you HAVE to be playing as Zer0 the assassin,)

    You can unlock this achievement anywhere after level 5 if you follow these simple steps.

    1. Go to a catch a ride station.

    2. Spawn a Bandit Technical.

    You can get this vehicle from Ellie after completing Quests for her. It unlocks after the quest "a dam fine rescue".

    3. Go to the back of the Technical and stare at the left side.

    4. [First way, How I did it on the Xbox One version]
    Stare at the left back side of the technical where you can press (x) to climb in but don't do so yet, activate your deception ability and wait till the timer gets close to zero seconds as possible, when your ability is about to run out climb in the backside left seat of the technical and press A continuously to switch sides you should still be in deception mode and thus gotten the achievement.

    (Second way, How I got this on the 360 version)
    Activate your special ability AND quickly press X to get onto the back left side of the Technical, now while deception timer is counting down, you need to press A as FAST!! as you can and you will keep sitting left to right on the Technical, for some reason this glitches the timer beyond 10 seconds and thus unlocking this achievement way before level 31.

    This method is perfect for those who don't want to restart all over again just to get zero to 31.

    May take several tries of trial and error but i can confirm as of 09/10/12 it still works and has not been patched yet for both versions of the Borderlands 2 game.

    Both ways above work, tested by me and some friends of mine.

    Credit goes to someone apparently on GameFaqs, but it first caught my eye thanks to Drunken Deity's forum post on X360a.

    TacticalCuke83Can confirm this still works for the xbox 360 version as of 1/15/2024. Took me a few tries to get it but I found it to be as Yalrish said, it's a timing thing. You'll see the white countdown bar below the time blink each time you hit the button correctly, re-upping the ability about every second and a half. That said though I found tapping as fast as I could allowed me to hit that window more than trying to time it.

    The Last RascalLeveled Zero to 10 on X360 and did the original solution first try. Imported the character to the X1 version and couldn’t get either method to work after many attempts. Went through the comments and found this from Vrruumm that worked second try. Only thing I did different was to look as close to the bottom of the wheel as possible and still have the X prompt to try and stretch out the animation.

    “ I did it June 27th, but I had to get in the Bandit Technical at around .5 seconds left, and then spammed B until I got out. Got it on my first try. Switching seats didn't really work for me. Either way thanks for the guide, beats leveling up to 30 or so.

    KDiamond1973Just did it on X1. Pressed X to get in Bandit Tech somewhere at 3-2.5 sec on timer and than REALLY spammed A as fast as I could. Worked at 2nd attempt.

    For this achievement you need to be a high enough level to drop one point in the final skill in zeros bloodshed skill tree. I can't quite remember what level as I'm 72 from character import but I believe it's around 28 or 29. If someone can confirm this I'll edit the solution. As you build your way down the bloodshed tree to the final skill be sure to increase your melee damage as much as possible and take the execute skill. Also any class mods or relics that boost melee or roid shields will help but aren't required.

    Edit: thanks to scuzzybunny for pointing out its level 31 to get down the skill tree.

    A great spot to do this is in tundra express. There's quite a few weak varkids here you can 1 hit melee kill them from deception since your melee is so high. Once you find a nice group of varkids enter deception mode and wait a couole seconds to strike as your melee boost builds the longer your in deception. Once your timer is down to 3 seconds start attacking by clicking right stick to use the execute skill. Every kill you will re cloak and gain another second on the timer. Should take 4 or 5 kills. Pretty easy this way.

    Get Zero to level 5. Go into a friends game that has a bandit technical. Go into deception mode and wait til theres about 1 second level left in deception mode and enter the back of the technical and rapidly press B to get out of the technical. if u do it right you should remain in deception mode til u get out of vehicle and unlock the achievement when then animation finishes.
