This is my personal guide\idea for this achievement after spending a lot of time with no success/luck on OUTLANDS CANYON. And guess what? Got it in less than a minute with my method on first try. Go to TRITON FLATS get a vehicle and go to STANTON`S LIVER (there´s no fast travel for this area). Once there go to the SOUTH part of the map and get in "THE VENTRICLES" Cave. If you are going also for the "I come from the land up over" achievement you will go there anyway. Once there you will see yourself surrounded by many CRYO VINES and packs of TORKS spawning all over. You don`t need to lure or follow them because they will come after you and also they will freeze themselves in groups many times while chasing you. And here it goes a small piece of advice...switch your gear (shield, class mod, skill points and O2 kit) if needed to any that doesn`t kill the bugs when they hit you because this will surely make things harder. Hope it helps you like did it for me toast !
