Go into Extras, Offline Kombat History and then change the background, icon and border. Press B twice to back out and you should get a save prompt. Press A to save changes (you will get the achievements for individual categories if you haven't already).

Now go back in and set everything back to the original three selections again (Welcome, Mortal Kombat X and It Has Begun) and save. The achievement should unlock.

This solution was edited based on some useful comments - thanks to AaronYDG, freddyflask and other people who commented.

PremozIt has to be a set that will be why, Your description just says to change them, if you go in to change either one press X to "View Info" and you can then see which ones are part of a set and press Y to equip and entire set. It looks like changing anything saving then changing it back works as that is the "Default Set" so I don't think the achievement is buggy as such, people just didn't understand how these "Sets" work. :D

FlabyoIn the list of borders etc... some are marked with a star. Those are part of a 'set'. If you press X to show info you can see the others that make up that set. If you have them all, you can then press 'Y' to equip the whole set. Saving the changes to your profile card after that will pop the achievement.

I got it by setting the 'complete Goro's tower' set, but it should work with any complete set you have.

There is no glitch, the reason why the default set unlocks it is because it is a "set".
You could do with updating the solution to what flabyo said, since his is accurate

slysyI already updated the solution on 15th April 2015 (crediting the relevant people who helped) and it works fine since. I agree there is no glitch, but there is also no reference to any glitch in my solution :) I guess you are referring to some old comments relating to the pre-edited solution.

Is there something you think is inaccurate in the solution (as opposed to the comments)?

Sorry, it came out worse than i meant it to ??

The solution really only needs to be what flabyo and premoz put.

B8TINGUYour solution is not quite right. You said you edited it to reflect the comments but the solution is still not there. I tried it your way and got nothing, but then followed the comments of people about the "set" and it worked perfectly. I am voting down for now, but if you do edit your solution to at least include this information, I will change it. Thanks for the effort.
