This is much easier if you are playing online with three others. All players head to one area and when a survivor rescue round shows up one person go bring him to the evac point. No (or very few zombies) will spawn and attack the survivor if all other players are in a different location. Even if the other players follow you just make sure to use traps at every opportunity, distraction drones help & upgraded shotguns are a lifesaver.

This can be done solo, it’s just difficult. I’ve seen reports of this not unlocking in Local Play, so just play it safe and attempt this in an Xbox Live private match.

The essentials to successfully escorting four survivors to safety are:

S-12 upgraded to Mk 10+
Distraction Drones
Contact Grenades
Exo Medic
Exo Health
Exo Reload

Without these, I don’t see any way someone could possibly complete this alone. Your secondary weapon doesn’t matter, though I’d suggest using the CEL-3 Cauterizer for killing the zombies on non-survivor rounds.

Along with the above, the Camouflage orbital drop is very useful on later rounds when you have to escort the survivor through the sewers, as you’ll be surrounded by a plethora of zombies in very tight quarters. The Sentry Turret can be very helpful as well, as it distracts the zombies for a brief period.

Start out by purchasing the door to Atlas Command, then the Sewer Junction as soon as you’ve accumulated 2000 credits (continue to knife all the way up to getting the Exo Suit). Once you’ve acquired the Exo Suit, continue punching the zombies to death until you can open the door to Command Center.

Now continue to use the 3D Printer until you’ve acquired the S-12, Distraction Drones, and CEL-3 Cauterizer. The S-12 is crucial to getting this achievement as it has very high damage with very quick firing speed. Regardless of what you get the first few times, it should be adequate enough in aiding the first survivor, which appears at round 6. Just keep the zombies off him and activate the electric floor in the spawn room.

From here on out you’ll be working towards acquiring (while continuing to use the 3D Printer until you have at least the first two weapons stated previously) Exo Health, Contact Grenades, Exo Reload, and Exo Medic in that order. Make sure to purchase all the doors as well.

When you’ve opened access to Burgertown, stay in that area for each round (unless toxic) to dispatch the zombies. Just run laps around the central restaurant while regularly spinning around and picking them off. Once you’ve finally acquired all the essentials, start upgrading your S-12 and CEL-3. Ideally you want to get your S-12 to Mk 10 before the third survivor (round 17).

Make sure to only use your CEL-3 during non-survivor rounds and no grenades/drones to save them for protecting the survivors. You’ll always want to have full S-12 ammo, as well as fully stocked Distraction Drones and Contact Grenades when approaching the remaining survivor rounds (12, 17, 22).

When the survivors show up, quickly get to them, deploy an Assault Drone if you have one, and start picking off the zombies with your S-12. If the survivor ever gets overrun with zombies, throw a Contact Grenade at the bunch. If you’re ever completely overwhelmed, throw your Distraction Drone or deploy a turret. While escorting through the sewers, especially on round 17 and 22, activate Camouflage to avoid being downed.

Once you’ve managed to escort the last survivor to safety, the achievement will pop. This achievement is pretty tough to do solo so hopefully this can be of help to you fellow achievement hunters. Good luck and happy hunting!
