    Once i had completed the game with only the final mission remaining i had around 487 fame.
    Then i used the other members from my group who had low stats. for every level you get them up ,e.g getting to cardio level 2 etc... you get 1 fame. i chose the characters that had 1 star cardio shooting and fighting etc
    then i ran around using snacks to get my cardio levels up then took out zombie hordes with headshots and cleared infestations. took around half an hour to get from 487 to 500.

    i stopped using them once their stats got to level 3 or soo just to save time smile

    I also believe finishing the last mission will get you to 500 but didnt want to risk it and had to waste time whilst i was waiting on buildings getting completed.

    JACK LAYT0NI can confirm that the last mission grants 25 Fame points. I started ''The Wall'' with 478 points and got the achievement upon completing it!

    Bilbo3DCNCSo, according to State of Decay fandom wiki: "In State of Decay, for each level of Basic Skill (Cardio, Wits, Fighting, Shooting) and Weapon Specialization, the player earns 1 Fame. Thus, the maximum Fame a single character can gain is 30 (24 Fame for improving basic skills and 6 for improving one specialization skill."

    I had over 1200 fame at one point but still did not have the achievement. After refreshing the stats, I'm down to 364. I THINK what happened was I lost a bunch of my leveled up people and had to start building up stats on new people. So I'm claiming at this point that you have to have 500 fame with people that are still living in your colony. Once dead, their fame is gone from the total. Hope this helps with others like me that are struggling to figure this achievement out.
