  In chapter 6, after you hear Annette talking to Kessler about how she has to think of her friend all the time you will climb a wall with your pipes and you will be able to see both of them in the distance.
  Kessler stays at the right side and Annette will jump to the left.
  Now to get this achievement you will need to take the path to the right and fight your way through the small section. You will afterwards encounter Kessler and you will be able to save him by shooting the zombies coming for him.
  By saving him you won't be able to save Annette which works the otherway around too so you will have to play this chapter twice to get both achievements.

  During chapter 6 you will be given the choice to save Kessler or Annette. When you get to a wall you have to climb, the way splits into two paths. Go right to save Kessler.
  
  The next room is loaded with enemies, but can be skipped if you want to do this quick. Run to the right stairway in the back of the room and follow the way. When you get to Kessler, he is attacked by some enemies. Kill them to save kessler and get the Achievement.
