  Easiest spot to farm by far is in Chapter 6: Right after you come out of the tenement building, before the ton of zombies burst out the door you can find an MG42 hidden almost out of sight behind the mattress you land on as you jump from the window.
  
  Kill the 20 zombies ahead of you in about 20 seconds and reload checkpoint.

  Right at the beginning of Chapter 3 the first enemy you fight will drop an MG. Pull the switch after killing the first guy opening up the second floor and a bunch of enemies will spawn. Kill these enemies, go upstairs and get on the mounted MG to kill all the enemies spawning across from you. This totals around 30 kills each time you reload.

  Ok to get this achievement you just need to kill I think it is 200 enemies the MG42, aka the turret, now there are many places in the game you can do this, whenever you have the opportunity I would use the mg42, it is really strong and can be a life saver, if you run out of ammo just place on a turret if possible to reload the gun. Now a really good bit is in the second last chapter when you are progress through a church and have to get off of you walker and proceed on foot to unlock the door for it, not to far in to the building is the MG42 and several turret holders to reload the ammo.
  

  *** Spoiler - click to reveal ***Now the reason this is a good spot is zombies drop stupidly easy and there are at least 30+ in this area, once you get near the end just reload checkpoint to grind it out.

  It's actually the MG46 (or the MG46 also counts). The super soldiers carry them.

  After you jumped out of the window in the burning building in chapter 6 you will see a big gate at the end of the narrow path. Look underneath the mattress that's by the window and pick up the MG42. It comes with 250 ammo and can take out quite a few enemies.
  
  Walk to the gate and take out as many enemies as you can during the next few corners. After the MG42 is empty, reload the checkpoint and repeat. The kills add up and the MG42 will be waiting for you.
