  This achievement is for defeating the upgraded version of Herodotus in the Land of Darkness.
  
  1) First, you have to defeat Herodotus in the Land of Darkness normally. I'd suggest a good build is one with PAD as you won't trigger the spiked floors in the room.
  
  2) After beating him, you have to get the Herodotus's Obol for a shrine in the castle. This is a bit random so keep hunting. When you have it, die on purpose and leave the castle. Upon re-entering Charon will take the Obal from you and you can now access the boss.
  
  3) Finally, find the boss room in the Land of Darkness again to fight the new EX version on the boss.
  
  The boss plays like a game of Asteroids. You will be a Dragon and be able to fly all over the screen against two Slimes. Focus the red slime first as he is faster. Each fireball (You have unlimited MP) will split the blobs. Note that the screen scrolls infinitely just like a game of asteroids so you can go off the screen as well just like the slimes can. You can only take 3 hits but if you die you respawn outside the boos room ready to try again.
  
  I'd say this is the easiest of all the EX bosses but still good luck!

  Well damnit. I killed the green one first so I'm screwed. Achievement did not unlock for me.

  Same here. I emailed the developer and they said a fix is already completed on their end and awaiting approval/certification. They also told me the fix would pop achievements automatically that have already been earned.

  This has since been patched, it popped when I loaded up the game yesterday :)

  Shoutout to Koldsned for his guide giving you basically all the info needed for this fight. Just keep in mind this fight just like the others requires some RNG so don’t be discouraged if you can’t do it quickly, these bosses are meant to be very difficult. Good news being this boss is definitely the easiest one of the five. This video shows how I completed it for anyone who is more of a visual learner (spamming your fire balls can make it more difficult) nonetheless good luck everyone!
