How to unlock the The Collector achievement

    This achievement can be obtained on your first playthrough of the DLC Lord of the Hunt (which is included in this bundle).

    Please note there may be some minor spoilers.

    In the final warchief mission you will be tasked with entering a Ghûl infested cave to draw out the warchief. When you have him on the run he retreats out of the cave and onto the clifftop.

    Once you start battle here he will summon Ghûls to fight along side him. Brand as many as possible with the flash brand (cn_X + cn_Y when you have hit streak) to turn them against him and fight for you.

    It is scripted in this battle for 3 Caragaths and a Wretched Graug to appear. Brand the Caragaths and Graug with cn_LT + cn_A and the achievement should unlock.

    If it does not, then it means the Spitter Ghûls you had branded have died. Jump off your mount and continue to flash brand groups of Ghûls and the achievement should unlock.

    Note: that you must complete this BEFORE the warchief dies; as this will end the battle and you will lose all your branded creatures.

    Brave TanukiStrangely, the final mission was the only point that I was actually able to unlock this achievement in. While roaming around the map, I satisfied the requirements several times, all to no avail.

    Death DealersFor those that struggle in the second part of the fight there are Graug and caragath baits hanging from the ruins. Brand some spitters then shoot both down this will spawn both the other two you need simultaneously. Allowing you to use LT+A to jump onto one then do it again to jump to the other.

    xX Black MageI don't know if anyone's said this before, but once You finish the dlc, You have to restart the story. I didn't know this and figured I could roam freely around the map after completing it like the story. I have to restart the campaign to unlock all the abilities

    There is an easy way to get this if you missed it during the battle (like I did)

    1) Fast travel to the Forge Tower in Cab-Gwanath (NE corner of the map)

    2)Look to your right, you should see a Graug, if not, fast travel again and one should spawn, shadow mount it of course

    3) look towards the Forge Tower, you should see one or two Caragaths, shadow mount one or both

    4) And THIS is why this is the best place to get this!! There are THREE Ghul mounds here in this area, West, East and South of the Forge Tower!!!

    5) Activate the Eastern mound to release the Ghuls and to keep your Graug and Caragaths busy.......

    6) Run to the Southern mound and activate it, build up your combo and use the flash brand (cn_X + cn_Y)

    This is a lot easier if you have the 5 hits to get a finisher and the 2 finishers at once skills unlocked.....(Blade Master and Double Charge)

    I tried getting a Spitter Ghul but failed, (darn Graug and Caragaths kept killing the Spitters) ran to the Ghul Mound South of the tower and left the Graug and Caragaths deal with the remaining Ghuls that came from the Eastern mound so I could have all the Ghuls in this mound to myself, tried again with the branding, and the cheevo popped!!!

    For anyone who didn't get this during the mission. It is easily attainable at the location on the map below. Red is caragath location, blue is ghul mound location, and orange is graug bait location.

    zr122I tried several of the other solutions but this was the only one that gave me a guaranteed Grug spawn. +1 from me. This should be the first solution you see.

    C3HJI don't see any Caragaths... And branding them before starting the mission doesn't help cry
