Here are a few tips to help you on your way.

I completed this as part of a team of 3, although I would suggest 4 would be easier. Solo is very tricky as there is no room for error but you’ll only be fighting 1 Demolisher at the end. As for 2 player, I’m not sure there’s enough firepower to take down 2 Demolishers in time…

1 Player Under 31 Minutes – 1 Demolisher
2 Players Under 28 Minutes – 2 Demolishers
3 Players Under 26 Minutes – 2 Demolishers
4 Players Under 25 Minutes – 2 Demolishers

Some players have been reporting Demolishers on New Game+ runs are set to Hard and are very difficult to defeat. I was using my first/Normal playthrough save so can’t comment on this.

Firstly, know what you’re doing. A weak link can end the speed run pretty quickly. There’s no time to squeeze in other achievements so stay focused on each round’s objectives and remember downed players can survive for 35+ seconds often giving enough time to finish the objectives before revival. Finishing in time should always take priority.

All players should pick up as many weapons as possible (including the re-bars dropped by Goons). Throwing the melee weapons at the Demolisher's heads will bring their armour and health down much quicker than direct combat.

A number of tasks need all players to congregate before the missions will be begin. Make these meetings a priority over everything else.

For Parkour sections there is some time to be saved by populating the gates before they spawn but the main focus should just be completing them without missing checkpoints or dying. Knowing the routes will obviously speed things up but you’ll only be shaving seconds off the time rather than huge chunks via other methods mentioned below.

Bombs – these always spawn in the same place. There is a lot of time to be saved by being in position before they activate.

Combat with Bolters – these guys are a royal pain in the ass, but there is much time to be saved clearing them out quickly. The first encounter can be taken care of in less than 5 seconds by camping their spawn points and using the Goon method below. Use “Charge” during the second encounter as it’s often more effective than trying to hit them with a melee weapon. Once outside use the shotgun - don’t bother chasing them around – and focus on their spawn points.

Combat with Virals – “Charge” is very helpful, especially on the lift section. Not only does it clear space around you buy often stuns the Virals for easy kills.

Combat with Goons – these can be killed in 5 seconds using the propane tank/fire extinguisher next to their spawn points. Once the countdown hits 2 seconds strike the tank once and back away – it’ll explode as the Goon spawns in. Pick up their re-bars!

“Delivery Boy” – many a good run has been ended by this horrible round down to exploding suicide Hazmat zombies. USE FIRECRACKERS!! Even if you can’t see any enemies!

Level 20 and Demolishers – don’t panic! You’ll get 2 Demolisher spawns, one near an electric trap, one near fire traps. Use firecrackers to lure Virals and the Demolisher into the electric trap and activate it by striking the panel on the column next to it. Take care of the Virals as quickly as possible and use every opportunity to throw your melee weapons at the Demolisher’s head. Use propane tanks carefully!

Once the electric Demolisher is down focus on the other one. Stay out of the fire traps, if you get caught and go down in one it’s often impossible to be revived. Don’t forget there are 5 throwing knives (which are surprising effective), exploding trap bombs, grenades and a Molotov you picked up from weapon crates too. Most important though – don’t forget the gates!! You’ll need the extra time!

Hope this helps - please add any further tips in the comments below.
