This guide is for people like me who only have 2 controllers.

Quick info: the achievement description is wrong it's not nitro effect but Dyn'o'mite.

First you need to go to splitscreen and chose 2 players then you choose the car and race which don't really matters. When the race start bring both of your players to a power up zone start by trying to get the remote control with the player 1 once you have it back off a bit behind and use controller 2 and try to get the mystery box (the one with a question mark) by touching that you can get stick by a dynamite.so what you need to do is place yourself in front of a wall but not too close and use your box to try to get the dynamite by touching the box as soon as you do quickly use your remote control with player 1 and after that crash into the wall with player two.

It take more time and patience depending on your luck because the box give random items but it can be done that way.hope it helps and sorry for my bad english.
