How to unlock the Firefly achievement

    Actions
    Start up Data Hive, rally point Alpha, on any difficulty (obviously Easy would be the best). It may be worthwhile turning on the Catch skull to increase grenade drop rates, but it's not essential.

    Proceed through the level as normal. You'll quickly meet a police officer and activate a trapdoor of sorts that you jump down into to go down a level. Drones will come out of this hole but you won't have a flame grenade yet so just kill them and move on.

    On this lower level you'll soon come across 3-4 invisible Brutes. These are the guys who drop the flame grenades. Kill them, stock up on the grenades, then proceed through the next door or two and more Drones will come swooping out at you. Hit any of them with a flame grenade and achievement unlocked.

    suicidebunny117To all of those who are still playing MCC in 2022, you can cut the guide almost in half if you have the bandana skull and if you play on easy as you start out with a flame granade and as its infinity ammo you can just spam away :)

    AcidBetweenBacnPiggybacking off suicidebunny’s comment: if you have the bandana skull on, start at rally point bravo. It’ll start you off right where the drones appear in the level.

    Nordic IXI'd recommend from the beginning as you need to pick up the flame bombs from the invisible brutes

    Load up Data Hive on Easy. Just rush through the level until you get to the part with the cloaked Brutes. Beat these guys down until you get a flame grenade, then find a Drone nearby or in the following room and nail it with the flame grenade.
