Collecting from your headquarters, and from the buildings you build under the income section (Farm, Vineyard, Quarry, etc) counts towards this achievement. The money you earn from battles does not. You can speed it up a bit by placing boosters near the income buildings and your headquarters but if you're going for all the achievements you will no doubt get this along the way.
As with all other achievements you can track progress by going to Tools -> Achievements. |
