You can either purchase airstrikes during the mission, or in pre-mission purchase the Delta Force specialist who comes with three air strikes. Either way, creep up on an unsuspecting group of three or more soldiers and drop the airstrike on them. If they're moving, compensate by dropping it in front of them. Mission 3-7 has a large number of troops, and some nice, juicy clusters to drop airstrikes on.
