How to unlock the MISCONCEPTION achievement

    Actions
    This is very easy to do in the later stages of the game. After you gain the ability to fly a helicopter and have infected vision, go steal a helicopter. Than turn on your infected vision by pressing right on the d-pad (cn_right), and fly around. The infected water towers will glow and you can target them by pressing left trigger (cn_LT). From here just fire away at a distance! Now go find 24 more and the achievement will be yours.

    Please note that I think in the later stages of the game, there is more opportunity (more infected water towers spawn). So I highly suggest just to wait until the later part of the story before grinding this out.

    Xenomrph 01I just got this achievement via the same method and thought I was a genius, and hurried over to TA to post a guide only to find out you'd done one a full year earlier. Oh well, thumbs up from me anyway!

    These water towers appear in the red infected zones. Look for crows flying in a circle to identify the infected ones. You will need to destroy them from range, as they will “hatch” once you begin to approach them.
    You can either steal a gun from a soldier, steal a helicopter or throw objects at them to destroy them.
    It is possible to destroy these with melee attacks, but you need to be very quick if you want to do it this way.
