How to unlock the Extreme Altitude achievement

The object of TriPeaks is to clear the board by removing cards in order. The order is:
    King, Queen, Jack, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, Ace

The order repeats, so you can go from Queen, to King, to Ace, then back to King. As long as you pick a card immediately in front of or behind the card in the draw pile. Clear the board 100 times to unlock this achievement. You can clear the board multiple times in 1 game.

I ASK NO ONEI'm not sure where to choose a game in this mode. I keep playing games from the home screen dashboard and it isn't counting them. I play a game and win then choose new game, but the counter in stats isn't going up at all. Not star cub or challenges, just TriPeaks from the home screen. Idk, maybe it's boards counted. Still isn't counting games won.

GoClimbAGlacierMay not be your case, but I was trying to speed up clearing the peaks, thinking that 3 per game would help, but it would only count it as one. At least I got the extra XP.

This achievement appears to be bugged in the Windows 10 version at the moment. From what I can guess, it seems that the game will register a cleared board for each time you press the 'New Game' button prior to actually clearing a board the normal way. So I believe you should be able to do the following to get the achievement:

    1. Start a new game.
    2. Press the 'New Game' button 99 times.
    3. Proceed with your game, clearing at least one board normally
    4. Get Achievement

It doesn't update the statistics screen, only the tally for the achievements.

This trick applies to both Pyramid and Tripeaks.

Thanks to BB rocker for discovering this only works for the Windows 10 version.

TheDonSimeoniOh.. I'm really hoping this doesn't work... If it does, RIP wasted time.

EDIT: It doesn't, yay. No time wasted. Buu, no free Gs.

I ASK NO ONESomeone should simply post a guide on how to get progress on this towards 100. I'm not gaining progress just playing a normal TriPeaks game. All that's here is how to cheat the achievement which obviously isn't working. I've been playing and getting no progress at all.

Edit: I was doing 2 boards and only seeing stats on 1 board that wasn't growing in the stats. It's counting, I just didn't see it because I was looking at the wrong stats.

Restarting 99 times and then finishing the game as suggested in the other solution seems not to work anymore. So I played around a little and checked the progress in between. What seems to work is playing multiple games in a row. If you just play one game from the home screen and back out after it, it doesn't give you progress in the the achievement screen of the game. But if you select new game after finishing it, it does.
