  Look around until you find a cow and then kill it - you can use any weapon or your fists. When they die they drop leather. Note, some cows don't drop leather, if that's the case, just go find another.

  For some reason I couldn't get this achievement in the Windows 10 version. I finally tried playing on Easy instead of Peaceful and it popped. I only ran into this requirement in the Windows 10 version. So if you are having issues getting this achievement to pop, make sure you are not playing on Peaceful.

  Didn't unlock for me either on Win10. Finally unlocked after killing a horse.
