  I exported my world just before I got this achievement so others could get it too.
  
  If you download and import this world you will start on top of a small pole of sand. There is a Zombie Villager at the bottom of the pole. In your inventory there is a splash potion of weakness and a golden apple. Throw the splash potion at the Zombie Villager and he should get red particle effects around him. Next, feed him the golden apple.
  
  EDIT: Some people are having a problem getting the apple to work. Try getting rid of the topmost piece of sand you are standing on so you are nearer him
  
  EDIT 2: Some people are struggling because they are throwing the potion/feeding the apple to a regular zombie. The Zombie villager is noticably different looking with a larger head nd a protruding nose
  
  Et voila.
  
  I'm not sure if you get the achievement straight away (my notifications don't always pop up) or if you have to wait until he finished being cured (takes about 3 minutes)
  
  If you head up to the village and enter the blacksmiths you'll find some other stuff in the chests that may help you get other achievements
  
  You can pick up the blaze rod to get
  

  The Into Fire achievement in Minecraft (Windows) worth 38 pointsRelieve a Blaze of its rod.

  
  If you turn that blaze rod into blaze powder and collect the glass bottles, nether wart and glowstone from the chest, you can use the brewing stand to make a potion. Fill the bottles with water, put them in the brewing stand, add the netherwart, then add the blaze powder, then add the glowstone, then take out the potion to get
  

  The Local Brewery achievement in Minecraft (Windows) worth 33 pointsBrew a potion.

  
  Drink this potion and use the diamond sword to jump attack a mob to get
  

  The Overkill achievement in Minecraft (Windows) worth 61 pointsDeal nine hearts of damage in a single hit.

  
  There is wheat to make bread, wools and other things you may find useful there too
  
  A couple of houses down, there is a nether portal which takes you to a ledge over a lava pit where ghasts regularly spawn, a perfect place to get
  

  The Return to Sender achievement in Minecraft (Windows) worth 65 pointsDestroy a Ghast with a fireball.

  
  If anything goes wrong, delete the world and import again to get back to the pole above the Zombie Villager

  I've tried multiple times now, I think the chievo may be broken atm :( annoying as I only have 2 left

  This achievement is now fixed. It is also retroactive meaning if you previously met the requirements it will pop as soon as you open Minecraft

  The super achievement wereld doesn't have a really optimal set up for this achievement. Use this world if you need an easy set up.
  
  Download the WIndows 10 zombie doctor achievement here.

  Be sure to load it on easy, normal or hard difficulty.
  
  Now equip the splash potion and trash it at the zombie (grey sparks appear). Next stand next to the zombie and feed him the apple. (red sparks appear and achievement will unlock).

  I know this is wayyy after you've released this achievement world, but I recently went back to wrap up all currently available Minecraft achievements on Xbox One and this one is giving me the most problems. The Zombie spawn eggs won't spawn a zombie villager even after multiple stacks. Has Mojang patched this method?

  Yes this has changed as there are separate zombie villager spawn eggs now. Though this separate world should already have a zombie villager

  You know what, I had downloaded the world with the majority of the achievements, not the zombie doctor one specified. Also, the achievement popped before the zombie villager ate the golden apple.

  1. FINDING APPLES.
  
  Apples in this version are rare as hell and can only be obtained by decaying oak tree leaves. I spent hours looking no luck. Have no fear for this seed (1408162313) will help.
  Once loaded head in the direction you spawn, very shortly you will arrive at a village. The blacksmith will have the elusive apple and some other goodies.
  
  Bonus info. This seed has a great cave under the village (dig down from the exposed smooth stone under one of the buildings. explore a little and you will come across visible Diamond and Gold blocks.
  
  As of this post creating a golden apples is impossible (god knows why).
  
  EDIT 15th September.
  
  I Forget to make a splash potion of weakness. So to avoid what I did which is stand cluelessly trying to force a golden apple on a zombie villager. Create a splash potion of weakness.
  
  Fermented spider eye (sugar, spider eye and brown mushroom) then add some gun powder to make a splash potion.
  
  Final note. Zombie villages seem kind of common so locating one for when the time comes should be relatively painless.

  I apologise for my previous comment, I was in a mood that day. I should of created a complete guide from the start. I should not of assumed that people knew how to do this.

  This is the second time I have seen this attitude expressed specifically relating to this game. I thought the point of this website is to have a collection of helpful information on this site, not call people lazy and tell them to use google, directing traffic away from TA.
  
  Not everyone is a Minecraft expert. Write the solution as if the reader knows nothing about the game. If you can't do that, or accept reasonable feedback without calling names, stop writing solutions.

  I don't want to nitpick, as your solution does have everything needed to get this achievement except one small detail. In the Win 10 version, you have to use gold ingots to get the golden apple, rather than gold nuggets as your video shows.

  Well I got the achievement but the two zombie villagers did not turn back into villagers.
