How to unlock the Cry Havoc achievement

    Location: At the beginning of missions 3, 4 and 5
    Landing Zone: Any

    It is a bit randomized but he will show up most of the time. If he doesn't, restart the mission. Extract him with the Fulton Device and visit him at mother base. complete 6 more mission to trigger the second cinematic on mother base.

    After a while you will be joined by D-Dog when he is big. This last cinematic will be triggered when you are leaving mother base at a later point.

    AG Bucky BarnesAll good, just to report if it helps your solution, on mission 3 I did initially go to that drop zone but it's just down from where you step off the heli, first time I didn't venture that far.

    I thought it must have been the other one so I extracted out and redeployed at the other drop, which failed as he wasn't there and it's out in the open. So I called D-Horse and trekked back to the original drop location as in the video, that's when I went further from the tree and heard him barking.

    Easy enough though I suppose, unsure how your solution has got another negative that's quite unfair & unsporting. I'll +1 this as you helped me out.

    Step 1: Neutralize and Extract the puppy at the beginning of Episode 3, 4 or 5.
    Step 2: Visit Mother Base
    Step 3: Complete missions until you are told to revisit Mother Base
    Step 4: Complete missions until you are told to revisit Mother Base, where d-dog becomes available for deployment.

    unequalized joeI picked up D-Dog on Mission 3 and got the second cinematic, and have played through side ops and finished story Mission 8, but he's still the tiny pup whenever I visit. Is there anything special to do to trigger being told to revisit Mother Base?

    Hey all, just a different video guide for this one. Need to find the pup on mission 4, then go out and finish all mission up to 11 to get the dog to join you as a buddy. Hope the video helps!
