  I found a pretty sure fire way to get this is by driving off the cliff on the west side of the map. It'll warn you about driving off the map and will reveal the location "The Big Nothing". Keep driving off the cliff and should be easily 4 seconds. Me and two friends have got it this way.

  Edit: Grimace221 kindly added.... For those wondering how good the car has to be, I had the best V6, the tier 4 suspension, tier 5 exhaust, and boosted right as I hit the ledge. This can probably be done with a lesser upgraded magnum opus. Also worth noting if you need more air time, try stripping down armor, and spikes, etc to lower weight.

  Went cliff , I counted bang in four sec befor touched floor , so drop like , just not ready that yet or buggy gs

  Got best tier V6 exhaust , stripped it rite back make lighter , , Ty tips double check what got ,

  It took me a few tries (and an hour) but I got it. A couple enemies showed up so I killed them and drove one of their cars into the Big Nothing while diving out at the top. I tried to do that with the other car but I somehow managed to go farther than the car (too bad it didn't count toward the achievement since I survived, I would've laughed so hard...). I got it on my next try, though! Also, not sure why there's so many negative votes. Thanks for the help! I gave you a +1!

  Best place i found for this is where you end up right after you complete act 4. You will end up at the edge of a cliff, where you can just turn around and boost right off. I got 6 seconds of air time there

  You really need to clarify what you mean by "Crosshairs" because the typical and most noticeable "Crosshairs" are on the balloon to the east by your location icon. I'm guessing that's where the downvotes are coming from That being said, once I figured out you meant the big thin crosshairs, I got it first try. No Grill, No armor, Ultimate V6, max Exhaust, max tires, max suspension. Take my upvote.
