You can get this while going for several of the "gameplay" achievements - and my suggestion is that you do so - but here is the solution if this is the only achievement you are lacking:
Simply navigate to the main screen, move over to the "Play" tab, "select "Kickoff", select the teams you wish to use (my suggestion is use Barcelona & then some 1/2 star team from England or Ireland). I suggest you change the "Game Settings" before selecting "Play Match", just set the "Difficulty Level" to "Beginner".
However, for simply getting this achievement none of that really matters. Simply start any mode and then substitute your best player at some point in the match.
I did it while getting the:
achievement, simply substituting for Messi. If you are doing as I suggested above, you can do the same.
If not, simply press the
during the match, go to the "Team Management" tile & substitute for the highest player on the pitch and the achievement should pop.
This should be trivially for easy for every single FIFA gamer.
(The possibility exists that for some strange reason your highest rated player on the team is on your bench. In that case, simply substitute him in, then substitute him out & the achievement should be yours.)
