How to unlock the Serious Pipes achievement

    When singing vocals, an "Awesome" rating is awarded during a phrase when you fill up the little pie chart underneath the lyrics. The better you do in pitch and timing, the faster it fills up. You'll need to find 6 songs in your collection that you are comfortable enough singing at Hard difficulty that you can nail most of the phrases.

    I found that songs with freestyle vocals helps because the game gives you a little more leniency with what it counts. You'll see the pie chart fill up with both blue and orange on these songs, but as long as you fill up the pie, you should get an "Awesome". You'll also know it counted because your streak multiplier will be maintained.

    The 6 songs can be any songs, not just Rock Band 4 songs, so DLC is fair game. smile

    One thing to note: It seems like the tambourine sections in songs that have them somehow impacts your rating. I tried two songs with tambourine hits and neither of them seemed to count even though I only missed one vocal phrase. So avoid those songs if your mic sucks at registering the hits like mine does.

    Some of the songs I used were:
    Paramore - Still Into You
    Nirvana - Polly
    Nirvana - Something in the Way
    Green Day - Know Your Enemy

    GigatoreadorAs in previous Rock Band games: Songs that consist of all-talking (where only need a constant noise) should work. I got gold stars on "Guerrilla Radio" by RAtM and will update when I find other tracks that work for this.

    As in previous Rock Band (see Kennansoft's guide for the same achievement in RB3:

    ) parts, just use tracks that consist of only talking parts. Not all tracks that worked in RB3 seem to work in RB4.

    I can confirm that the following tracks are working for this (Beastie Boys tracks used to work fine, but only the DLC are available yet):

    - Rage Against the Machine - "Bombtrack" (DLC)
    - Rage Against the Machine - "Guerrilla Radio" (DLC)
    - Rage Against the Machine - "Killing in the Name" (DLC)
    - Rage Against the Machine - "Sleep Now in the Fire" (DLC)
    - Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Give it away" (DLC)
    - Run DMC - "King of Rock" (DLC)
    - Soul Remnants - "Dead Black (Heart of Ice)"

    Shout/"sing"/growl into your mic during the parts and you're fine. You probably will also get the "4x Overdrive in 1 track while singing" achievement while going for this achievement.

    PS: You may want to check the Rock Band store on the 360 for the DLC tracks, they're cheaper there.

    MiZ Dove OGThree of these songs aren't available for me either on the list or for DL. I really wanted to try this solution. I tried it on Dead Black and it worked perfectly. Love solutions like this :)
