There are a few things you need to get to create a water wheel to then create electricity.
First get the 'water sac thing' from the rat kitchen and blow it up so it becomes 'Inflatable hose'. Then the 'Hamster ball' found in the cave near the entrance to the hole where Remi is. Thirdly a 'Fluffy Collar', after exiting the kitchen walk to the far right and search through junk to find it. After being in the Zombie workshop a few times and speaking to the Zombie a 'Roll of tape' will appear near the Exit. Lastly you need 'Plates', these can be found by asking the rat cook in the kitchen for some stew, keep asking for more stew until you have enough plates.
Put the tape in hamster wheel, stick the collar to the inside, and then put in inflatable hose finally add the plates go back to the Zombie workshop and fill it with water with the tap near where the zombie is to create electricity.
