How to unlock the Home achievement

This is the last achievement you will get. It is NOT NECESSARILY glitched and it will unlock, if you have done everything else before. There are reports of it being glitched though - so be aware of it. It involves a last short cutscene where you monologue in front of the old barn.

You have to do the following things:

    - Finish the main story.
    - View all the photos ("70 out of 100" achievement)
    - Read all of Ben's stories ("By Benji" achievement)
    - Listen to all the radio tracks in the main menu ("On the Radio" achievement)
    - Finish the epilogue (once is enough, but the right one): Pleasing mom and getting the "Until Next Time" achievement. (thanks to AP E JC for pointing out that you can trigger the cutscene with this epilogue)

You DO NOT have to get the "20 Miles Out" achievement for this one. (thanks to Calex dEUS for the tip)

What I do know, is that you do not need the "cutscene" with the car if you complete the main story and don't choose the epilogue right away. I didn't see this scene and couldn't trigger it either.

    Important:
The cutscene (for getting the achievement) will only start after you finished the epilogue. So if you have done everything and you didn't see the cutscene, just start up another epilogue, choose the fastest way (taking the bus right away and not calling mom) and the cutscene will trigger afterwards, granting you the achievement after you played through it. wave

SoppiestSquash8I finally was able to get this one by restarting the Epilogue, waiting, and I got on the second bus. That triggered the cutscene to start.

DJ Zibbymanyes this worked like a charm for me. all I did was just wait and get on bus. quickest way to get it done. you wont see the cutscene till after the credits.

After completing all other achievements, do the following to get this last achievement:

Go to the main menu and select "new". When asked "Start from the top?" choose "Yep".
Then choose epilogue. Now go through exactly what you did to get the Canon achievement:
    [just wait]
    [get on the bus]
Then credits will appear on the screen. Hit the A button and you will have the option to skip the credits. Then a cut scene will appear and you will see Kelly sitting on the back of her car, and the conversation will be about the old house.

This entails completion of the Main Story, The Epilogue and all extras. What it doesn't say but implies given the fluff when unlocked is also... 'had one last chat.' I take this to mean the conversation you have while sitting on your car if you chose not to play the Epilogue after finishing the Main Story. I suggest the following order to minimize the time you spend playing this game:

    - Play Main Story
    - Chose not to play Epilogue
    - Watch cutscene on car
    - Play Epilogue using 1st option (cn_X + cn_A)
    - Read all stories
    - View all photos
    - Listen to all music

Due to the order I played this, I'm unsure if the extra mileage is required for:
Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition20 Miles OutThe 20 Miles Out achievement in Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition worth 80 pointsDrive the distance home.

I'm also unsure if the 2 additional playthroughs of the Epilogue that you do for Wrong Bus in Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition are necessary for this achievement.

KugareHmm. I played through the main story and decided to not play the epilogue - like you said. Afterwards i had NO cutscene. Now i played the epilogue 3 times and unlocked all extra based achievements. I had the Home, the 20 miles and the walking achievement left.

I started to grind some of the miles with the car. I played a few minutes, saved and decided to exit the main story. My goal was to update my progress bar. After exiting the main story a cutscene appeared. I was standing in front of my car and looking at my home. I guess it's the scene you talked about? After the scene i unlocked the Home achievement. Now i just have the miles and walk achievement left.

tl,dr: If you exit the main story in your 2nd playthrough the cutscene should appear. You don't have to complete the story twice. The scene do not appear if you choose to not play the epilogue after your first playthrough. At least this is my experience.
