  For the WRC season you are entered into all 13 rallies on the calendar for the season. You only need to have the most points at the end of the season and dont have to win each event. Each rally takes approximately 30 minutes. I was able to get enough points by wining the first 10 and just quiting out of the last 3 thus savimg 90 minutes. You can set the options to easy to make the achievement as simple as possible and even turn all damage apart from brakes and tyres off.

  I was a little hesitant about quitting the last 3 cause I really didn't want to have to play the whole thing over again but it worked no problem!
  
  At round 10 I had 280 for the Drivers leaderboard and after quitting the last 3, the second place driver came to 273. It's super close but it worked and saved a ton of time like you said!!!!

  +1 from me, great tip and saved some time. I had 280 also after round 10 and quit the last 3 but the second driver finished with 277, so this could be random. i would just quit the last two just to be safe.

  It's not that "random" if you do the math!
  
  You can safely skip the last 3 rallies if the point difference between 1st (you) and 2nd place is above 84 points. Basically, you need a difference greater than 28*x, where x is the number of rallies you intend to skip.

  I did everything as described, 280 points after 10 rallies, skipped last 3, won as first, got the congratulations message, but no achievement.
  
  Update: Next day morning achievement was tagged as 100% locked, couple hours later it was unlocked with next day date. I will leave this information for anyone that can be facing same behavior.
