1 tip: go to Options, Gameplay, turn on Perks in Quests. That helps a lot.
There is no option to get this easier.
You can play in co-op but it generates more monsters and almost all levels become harder than playing solo.

Finishing Grim will give you Splitter Gun, a weapon that can help you to get 500k Survival.
