    To add to Pvt Tuker:

I came here to write a little guide but Pvt Tuker has covered most things i was gonna say! I will add that if you go on the leaderboards for each level you can see the high scores of the top people, if you click on the person with A you can see which cards they used. I then noticed if your press A again you can use the same cards for 2000 credits without owning them. So all you gotta do is find a set of cards your comfortable with and get the correct score so when multiplied by your cards you have gold. If you havent got enough just restart and you will keep the cards. I personally used high multiplier cards and one which had unlimited poison arrows, this makes it so easy to kill enemies and keep your multiplier. There are people at the top of each leaderboard which have use a unlimited poison arrow card you can copy or feel free to add me and copy my cards. I came number 1 on some leaderboards doing this and normally on the first page of the leaderboard. I hope this helps i did most first go having unlimited poison arrows!

    To add:
To get gold all i did was try to keep the multiplier as high as i could up to the enemies in the level and kill them without losing the multiplier. If you manage to keep a good multiplier and kill the enemies you will most likely have enough points and it doesn't make a difference if you die as you lose only 300 score. I did a run on each level to make sure i knew where to go, where the enemies are and to find a good path to run to get the multiplier up. As commented below make sure to shoot any lanterns you see these give you extra points and add to your multiplier. If you shoot them from far away you get extra points. Just make sure you work out what score you need to get before the end of the level so when multiplied by your card bonus you have enough points for gold. Thats it really its simple once you get the hang of it and the poison arrows make it easy to kill people without losing your multiplier.

Goggs25So I have to pay £250 to get that achievement becuase the lazy developers refuse to fix it for series x

Cpt KubizzleFinished the challenges on Series X, achievement stucked at %93, launched the game on Xbox Cloud Gaming, conpleted an easy tomb in score attack and it popped.
P.S: I was able to use cloud with a VPN since it is not available in where I live
Posted by Cpt Kubizzle on 10 Mar at 22:10
Pwncakes70I can also confirm that using Cloud gaming unlocks the achievement while being stuck at 93% on Series X.

The two solutions which already have been posted are fantastic and deserve your thumbs up. They got me through 28 of the 29 challenges, but I was stuck on the toughest one, Copper Mill. I beat it twice today and have created a video walkthrough in case you get stuck as well.

After Copper Mill, the next-toughest Gold medal requires 250,000 points and most hover around the 150,000-230,000 range; the tombs require 5,000-30,000 points to get gold medals on. But for some reason, the Copper Mill requires 700,000 points. You can reach this score with a good bit of planning and by using the first place on the leaderboard's cards to give you a +350% multiplier.

As long as you have 2,000 credits, you should be able to press cn_A to view details of any leaderboard player, and then on the bottom of the screen you'll see another option to press cn_A to "play with these settings." I found the easiest card lineup to be:

First Aid: No auto-regen (which is disabled in Survivor difficulty)
    = +100%
Toxicity: Unlimited poison arrows = -50%
Holstered: Reduced pistol damage (which is irrelevant since you're using poison arrows) = +50%
No Leftovers: No ammo pick-ups (irrelevant since you're using poison arrows): +100%
Armor-Plated: Enemies have double armor strength (irrelevant since poison bypasses armor) = +100%

This means you receive your score +300% (or 4x your score) and the only penalty is that you have to use unlimited poison arrows. Grip is a pain in the ass and One Life To Live can be frustrating if you don't have an area memorized. However, in this case, the best option was to use someone's card set which included One Life To Live, so I was very careful once I reached the score goal to make sure I survived the level even if it cost me my combo multiplier.

EDIT: In the comments, HolyWarr27 has created a playlist for gold medals without the use of cards.

In the comments, some users have reported difficulty unlocking this on Series X and had to boot up the game in an Xbox One for all of the challenges to tally correctly. It does not appear that this specific challenge is the problem, and digital versions may not have the issue. We don't have enough data yet to determine the cause of the problem and solution.

Frankie DrumsNYMugenKairo if I were to fix that link, TA would automatically publish all the videos in my solution; I tried it originally and suddenly my solution had 15 videos in it, which I didn't want to do. Happy the solution worked out for you.

Already 4 great solutions related to this achievement here on TA, and still not exactly what I was looking for.

In case you would prefer visual aid like I do, I found these HQ vids on YouTube which you would've found anyways.
I'm only linking, I take no credits for it.
So, a BIG thanks goes to the author Icarus Wings who took the time to record them and share these with the world on YouTube.

The thing I personally like about vids, is that they give me a good idea of what cards were used (look at the summary at the end of the vid), what the level looks like, what weapons (if applicable) to use, which path to take to build up and maintain the score combo multiplier, etc.

As already suggested by many others, it's better to go to the leaderboards and look for a gamer who used a set of cards you feel most comfortable with.
Personally, I think it's better to spend 2.000 Credits to have the perfect set of cards, because when you beat the level (and get gold), you will get 10.000 credits and thus still make 8.000 profits whilst having the perfect set of cards and not consume any of your own cards from your collection.

Alright then... on with the vids!

(*) Please note that the levels Return to the Wicked Vale and Witch's Cave are NOT needed for this particular achievement (Golden Child) since they are part of the Baba Yaga DLC, but they are needed if you're going for this achievement:

My RingtonesCool another 20+ hour achievement that this shitty game has. 2 hours in on the first level and I've already lost my shit.
    This is Absolute Cancer.
    1. You need a guide for most level because your string will break if you aren't heading exactly where you should be. Lost City, The Cooper Mill, Both Witches and The Prophets Tomb show zero mercy, you stray from the path and stray for one second you have to restart.
    2. You will die alot, usually because Laura not doing jumps correctly, you have to be frame perfect for a wide variety of jumps and Laura failing to grab stuff wastes so much of your time. Lost City is the worst offender of this as you will fall and lose time often because of how horrible the controls are.
    3. Combat missions are a breeze, platforming is where this will break you.
