Like some of you guys, I kind of skipped over alot of the terminals so I only had 15 hacked at end game. After searching for a while, I finally found an exploit. This will allow you to hack the same terminal again and again. First, YOU MUST HAVE THE CASTLE unlocked. Second, go to S. Boston Military Checkpoint. This is important: DO NOT KILL ANY GUNNERS AS IT WILL BREAK THE GLITCH. There is an expert terminal near a Power Armor Frame, and once it is hacked DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR and travel back to the Castle. Rinse and repeat. Here is a video for those that want a visual guide:

EDMath24Update: At 101 terminals hacked and still no achievement. I deleted local save data from the xbox, unplugged it, re-downloaded save data before hitting 100 and still nothing. The only other thing I can think of to do is to make a second character and get 50 again.

CandidFever3If the glitch breaks near the end of your grind and you need more, there are four in the Boston Utility tunnels. This is what happened to me. The gunners suddenly disappeared near the end of my grind and I still had close to 10 terminals left to hack. In the tunnels, each of the two security doors for the maintenance room has a novice and an advanced terminal, one on each side. There are also a few more easy ones at the various stations and schools found throughout the game.

Here is a list of various locations with the amount of terminals they have and their difficulty levels. I have not been able to find a list or map, so I figured let's make one. Sadly, I did not think about this until I had half my hacks already...

You can use this list to either:
    -find missing terminals, or
-double check that you found all of them for the area/ building

Total Terminals found so far: 74!

    Extra Notes:
-Don't be an idiot like me and completely forget to upgrade your lockpicking- I likely missed some Terminals as a result.
-Pipboy > DATA > STATS > Crime to view your terminals hacked (and locks picked).

psybOltOnGreat guide, I'd use one single spoiler tag for the whole list, so one doesn't have to click 70 times to see (and be able to search in) the list.

For anyone new to the Fallout series, and is having trouble hacking, here is a little bit of help.

You need to find the correct word to hack the terminal.

For example; Seeds could have likeness of 3. There could be another word like Welds. 3 of the letters match, so it is likely that Welds is the correct word.

Terminals with Novice rank, have shorter words, whereas Master will be considerably larger words.

In between the words are random symbols. But look for brackets like this ( ) < > [ ] { } in each line of code. If you have got a set of brackets, the highlighted cursor will extend to cover that code in said brackets. Press A, and it will remove a dud word. Making your hacking easier. Sometimes, you will have your tries amount reset.

Hope this guide helps, and if you have anything to add, or think needs to be changed, reply in the comments, and I'll ammend it with a credit to yourself.

Edit: Thanks to CanadianWhizKid. If you have guessed wrong 3 times, back out of the terminal, and when you go in again, you will have reset your tries. Also, the hacking perks are essential if you want to hack advanced and master terminals.

Another update from WhizKid, it seems that it must be on a single character. As he has 2 saves, one with 23 and another with 29. Looks like it will pop when the counter in your stats hits 50.

FullMoonBeaverThanks. No idea about the negative votes either. Thought I explained it well enough. I always give reasons for downvotes. Intelligence of 9 will make it far easier to hack, pretty positive of that.
