You can buy chests to unlock troops. It costs Keys, Gold, Glory, or Gems to buy a single chest and larger chests of course cost more. Chests are the way to buy new troop cards. An easy way to earn all three currencies is the Treasure Hunt.
Once your a high enough level you can unlock Zhul'Kari for 750G. This gives you the ability to run Treasure Hunts. Each game will cost 1 Map. I had 10 Maps at Level 10 when I opened ZK
(you may be able to open it sooner this is just when I opened it). The game is a matching game where you match Copper, Silver, Gold, Bags, Chests. I personally just do what the computer says to match and normally net 600-800G + a random number of Gems, Glory, Souls and/or Keys.
MatchingEach match of 3 upgrades it to the next level
3 Copper > 1 Silver
3 Silver > 1 Gold
3 Gold > 1 Bag
3 Bags > 1 Brown Chest
3 BC > 1 Green Chest
3 GC > 1 Red Chest
3RC > 1 Vault
ValueAt the end of the game you get rewards for what remains.
Bronze = 1G
Silver = 3G
Gold = 10G
Bag = 30G or 3 Souls
Brown Chest = 80G, 8 Souls or 2 Glory
Green Chest: 200G, 20 Souls, 5 Glory or 1 Gem
Red Chest: 35 Souls, 15 Glory, 2 Gems or 2 Glory Keys
Vault: 40 Glory, 5 Gems, 6 Glory Keys or 2 Gem Keys
Matching InfoAny 4+ match “stabilizes” the counter, meaning the turn counter doesn’t decrease.
Any 5+ match gives you an extra turn. This includes making 3x3 Ts.
How to get treasure maps:You can buy them in the shop – just go to the rewards screen and buy them for 30 Glory.
You can get them any time you make a 7-cascade in a regular match, i.e. matches that lead to 7+ subsequent matches.
You can get them as a reward for your guild completing certain Leadership tasks.
