This is not really a solution but I want to point out that you can replay any base as soon as you finished the game. So don't worry if you have missed one or all of the easy bases.

Sunny KloudSignal24Code20, try a different base and if you have the DLC with the mechs order a mech. It's easier and it should count. Maybe a glitch to a special base?

Notorious KiwiSuper late to the party but I think the game just has a very specific idea of what is and isn't a base. There is a small base up in the north next to the excavators and it only has about 2 SAM sites. I just flew over it about a dozen times with the bombing jet and once it was clear the cheevo popped for me.

Apostle92627Finally got it with the mech without dieing. I died multiple times on my last attempt and didn't get the achievement.

ResinousHashishI've used a helicopter / tank to remove many bases and still haven't had this achievement pop, am I doing something wrong?

DritnulIn case anyone starts to panic like I did, you can jump to the roof of the tank and get back in while still earning the achievement. I accidentally hit go to roof and it still popped for me

By the time I read all of the above solutions I had already liberated all of those bases. Another good one is the Cima Leon: Transmitter located in the Feno Province of Isla Fonte (the coordinates are: N 40 42.012 E 5 43.152. Approach the base from the southwest and there is a Urga Bkolos 2100 tank at the dead end road that is in the shape of a curly cue. From there you can destory alot of the Chaso Objects and move down the road to destory the rest. Watch out for enemy light tanks and SUVs.

TranceSetterThis is the easiest, just get in the tank, blow up the few military and the tower, don't move your tank. Shot everything from a far range, and the only thing you need to drive for is the power station just below you. I think if you move the tank in total 50 meters it's a lot already smile
