This is the penultimate mission in the game and the final regional liberation.
As with the other regional battles, your goal is to fill up the bar that appears on screen and thus defeat the military in the region. While you can do this by killing all soldiers you encounter and destroying all military equipment, it will be quicker to follow the map markers to the battle’s flashpoints. You’ll also be closer to the final objective this way. The markers are pretty unmissable and will be accompanied by some voiceover when they appear.
The first location requires you to aid some rebels who are pinned down by some snipers. They are pretty easy to dispatch, but avoid remaining stationary in the open to avoid too much damage.
The next location is north-west of Citate Di Ravello. You’ll pass a lot of soldiers as you approach that you can also kill to move the bar if you so wish. This battle is a little more complicated, as you need to eliminate two SAMs, but they are protected by a group of soldiers with tanks. You have to kill the soldiers before you hack or destroy the SAMs. One approach is to hijack one of the tanks and use it to take out the platoon and SAMs, though I chose to hack the SAMs in case they provided additional support.
The final location is a significant distance from the second on a small island, though your map will now indicate the location of a jet in yellow that you can use to take you there. It is definitely recommended to take the jet as it will aid you in the objective and can be used to travel to the final cutscene.
Once you reach the location you will be asked to defend from jets that are circling overhead. If you brought the highlighted jet, simply use its homing missiles to destroy the hostile forces. Otherwise, use another means though hijacking one of the circling jets is probably the easiest alternative.
Your bar should now be full, so the final marker should appear on your map at Falco Maxime: Centcom. Travel towards the roof of the marker and the final cutscene should trigger just before you arrive or when you land.
The achievement unlocks after this series of cutscenes.
