How to unlock the Escort Master achievement

    Actions
    The Traveling Merchant is located in the east corner of the Map "Croakwood". The target of this quest is in the southwest corner of the map. Before you start the quest, make sure you clear the entire path of the enemies. This is IMPORTANT! After you clear all enemies, go to the merchant and start the quest. A group of enemies will be spawn. I use a Ice skill shot to frozen and kill the enemies (IcICLE SHOT Hunter Class) after the group go straight forward to the Romany Camp. Normally you have here no enemies and can reach the camp without any problems.

    This is a lot simpler than it may seem. This is not far into the game.

    After speaking with the Town Guard Captain in Markovna. Leave via the gate to the north west of the village. Once in the Croakwood forest area, just slightly to the north of your starting point, will be the merchant. He will have a green ! above him.

    He needs to go to the Romany Camp over to the West side of the map. Press down on D-Pad should you need to bring up the map. Go and clear all enemies you can find along this route first. Then prceed to the merchant and agree to take him along. He will follow behind you, and once there, 30g achievement for you.

    FullMoonBeaverI have done exactly the same. Funnily enough I found the merchant last when exploring the map. I started at the south and went clockwise. Makes the quest so much easier once everything has been slaughtered.

    Ethanc1308I went too far in the story and now I cant do this quest as noone is in the romany camp :(

    FullMoonBeaverGutted for you. My suggestion, is once you finish the game. Load it up, then restart the game. It's very near the start, and won't take an eternity to get it.
