How to unlock the Eddie Is Back achievement

    Eddie's Challenge consists of 15 events. They consist of circuit races, sprint races, time attacks, and drift contests.

    First, you will get a call from Travis telling you that Eddie has set up a series of challenges. Then you will get a call from Melissa and get the Challenge App (accessible from the start menu). Each time you complete a challenge, access the app, and it will give you the location of the next challenge on your map.

    You need to come in first in each event to move on to the next. Thanks to patches to the AI, it isn't as bad as when the game first came out. You should easily beat most of the events with your fastest car. For the drift contests, Ken's car is useful if you don't have a good drift car/build of your own.

    When you finish the final race, the achievement will pop once you load back into free roam.

    XûrAs a heads up, the 15th race takes forever. After restarting it several times due to getting behind, I found toward the end the game lets you "catch up" with it's patented rubber banding action. Stick to it no matter how far behind you get, you just might magically find them all waiting just ahead.

    WastuCouldn't agree more with AtomicIntert! The last race is horrendous - in true need for speed style it's about 4 hours long. Seriously the first 5 minutes of wall grinding, smashing into random on coming traffic and tapping walls leading to massive crashes are almost redundant - driving a clean last third of the race is the trick to getting this. Everyone waits for you to catch up so don't loose faith.

    iDeary 97For Race #9, I tried to stay with all the other cars as much as possible, hitting cars that try to get ahead to keep the pack, then on the last chance to get a lap in, for me was 55 seconds left, I done my fastest possible lap, with 20 seconds spare, I spun round and knocked the other cars that were about to set a decent time due to the "rubber banding" which seems to occur in this game

    karlempsonAbsolutely hate the last race, you can be miles in front, and then all of a sudden they appear behind you and overtake in the last few seconds. angry

    GerbasgamerThe time attacks are pretty broken in this series of races. I've been the fastest among my friends and yet they succeeded their events and I lost due to an AI with an insane time.

    Studli WanLikewise Gerbasgamer! I just completed the 3rd challange a full 2.6 seconds faster than a friend who has done all 15 challenges but I came 4th! angry

    IndianaBoy1992I have problem with this achievement. I win all 15 race but i don't have this achievement. After last race I unlocked Eddie's car and I win a race with his car (and for this I have achievement).
