First, create a route on your map that has you traveling from one island to another (Make sure you are crossing a bridge along the way). Next, hail a cab, jump in, and select "way point" as your destination so that the cab follows your route that you created. Now, instead of skipping the entire ride by pressing A, just sit back and wait for it to complete the trip. By the time your trip ends and you get out, the achievement should unlock.

If you don't wont do a special preparations, there's a way:
As you get the mission "No Love Lost" from Faustin at his home, just get the Taxi and DON'T press "A". Just enjoy the ride. As soon as you arrive and get out of Taxi the achievement will pop up.

It is a very simple achievement that requires your patience. This can be done with only Broker-Dukes and Algonquin unlocked. First, hail a taxi from anywhere on the island. Then, set the destination to somewhere on Algonquin (e.g. Helitours in Fisherman South). You can hurry the driver up by pressing X, which he will not stick to speed limits and overtake many vehicles in the way. This may seem long but another thing you can do while passing time is looking at your achievement list as the game will not automatically pause. Once you get out of the taxi, the achievement should pop up.
