    In addition to what Spilner said, you can also get this achievement by having a friend play with you online locally via splitscreen. Just make sure you are on each other's friends lists, have them connect a second controller, press start on the main menu, have them sign into their account, and start up any online game. The achievement will unlock shortly thereafter.

    DuskFelineGot it with private match password. Didn't need to give other person name or password either..

    RiodeJaneiroRJI tried several times to unlock this achievement without success, until I discovered that the achievement unlocks when the game ends and not as soon as it starts. I apologize for grammatical errors, I'm using Google Translate.

    SrIeLbEeNlTI was having trouble with this one until I added the second account as "Epic Friends" as well as just regular Xbox friends. It unlocked the next private/password protected match after that.

    You will need to be friends with each other over Xbox live before starting the game, if you friend whilst the game is open TuKraZe notes that you will have to force close the game and restart it.

    You can get this as either the host of a match or by joining, simply get in a party with a friend at the main menu. To create a party press cn_X and use the Xbox's UI to invite the players you want and once at least one friend has joined look for an Online match.

    Once the match begins the achievement is yours.

    Jobbenar notes that the possibility for both parties to be on different server regions in game might hamper someone who isn't host from getting the achievement, so make sure you're on the same one.

    If you need to boost this either create a gaming session or use the gaming session panel to the right of this page to find one already created.

    VeerYoddha9I got the achievement while adding person in game , I went to recent player and found a guy in same game , added him and went match finished I got the achievement. As on 23 December 2019

    SpeciallyTDerpMy friend had real trouble unlocking this. It eventually unlocked after we befriended each other on Epic Games.

    Start the game and bring out another controller and log into a dummy profile And then select play now and then select casual and then select 2v2 and then play the entire game ( note: press cn_RT on the dummy account controller so the dummy account doesn't get kicked out for being idle. )
